NEVER sign up to an MMO pre release, in fact never sign up to an MMO release. Wait at least six months before shelling out any money at all.

Seriously I've been burnt so many times by the "Next must have MMO". Warhammer Online, Dungeons & Dragons: Stormrage, Vanguard, Rift, Conan, Darkfall, Star Wars Galaxies....... Only LotRO had any legs to it IMHO. So I'll wait and see what everyone says about this new one before I shell out any more money. You all charge madly over the top in 'MMO no man's land' and I'll just have to sit this one out on the touchline with the half-time oranges and the fat wheezy boys with a note from matron.. baaahhhh!

I can confirm that it is your old EA logon. You just need to upgrade your old account. Had a nice surprise when I booted into it. BC1, BF2, 2142 and all the other titles I had aquired over the years were now pooled into one and ready to install. Even gave m crisis that I could not even remember buying. Lol.

I then proceded to update by profile including my ps3 id. And just now realised about the battlefield veterans page and gunclub. after rumiging around for old keys I got bf1942 1943 registered up. And find myself sitting at veteran level 8.

Now have extra weapons unlocked in bc1 and 2 :)

Only thing I was unable to do was bring my soilder accross from bc2 into the account as its locked into another ea name, which is not possible to merge. :(

As for don't preorder old republic, well you got no choice now as they sold out pre release CE in 2 days!!!!

with the old republic tied into origin also, I have everything I need. No need for steam anymore for me.

For all those looking to get bf3 I would update your veterans pages. Never know what they could give you extra ;)
