Obviously there are pre-order offers for a "Battlefield 3: Limited Edition" from Amazon, Play.com, GAME etc. which include the “Back to Karkand†expansion and also you can pre-order at high street retailers to also get the “Physical Warfare†pack.
However, EA’s new game delivery service, Origin, are now taking pre-orders and their offer includes the “Back to Karkand†expansion pack AND the Physical Warfare pack AND (wait for it peeps) - early access to the BF3 Beta, which begins in September.
The beta has previously only been on offer to owners of Medal of Honor Limited Edition (like me), who are get early access as well and have already had their emails (http://www.deadmen.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?33412-Battlefield-3-BETA&p=329125&viewfull=1#post329125). The beta should become open and be available to everyone, or more likely be re-branded the “demo†and released in mid-to-late October.
In order to get early access, you can pre-order Battlefield 3 from Origin here (http://store.origin.com/store/eaemea/en_GB/html/pbPage.battlefield3_EN_LE/) â€" the only downside is the price £39.99  Okay, so it's £10, but hey, I paid £30 for MOH!
Other pre-order bargains found so far:- Gamestation (http://www.gamestation.co.uk/gs/battlefield-3-limited-edition-physical-warfare-pack-131798) have Physical Warfare edition for £29.99 on pre-order.
Play.com (http://www.deadmen.co.uk/forum/Battlefield%203:%20Limited%20Edition%20%28With%20Play.com%20Exclusive%20) have “limited edition†with exclusive dog-tags for £32.99
Amazon (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Battlefield-3-Limited-PC-DVD/dp/B004MKM958/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1312531164&sr=8-1) have got “limited edition†with exclusive Specact Kit for £29.91 (which you can order using our affiliate link (http://www.deadmen.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?19810-Current-dMw-Affiliate-Links&p=192754&viewfull=1#post192754))

Game.co.uk (http://www.game.co.uk/Games/PC-Games-and-Downloads/Shooter-First-Person/Battlefield-3-Limited-Edition-Physical-Warfare-Pack/%7Er355081/) (Same as Gamestation)
When we bought bc2 it was £34.99 on steam with a small dlc if you preordered.
It was discounted from £39.99 to £34.99
Personally I am going to wait for steam to work out what is going on their end with EA.
As £39.99 is a bit steep.
Can you preorder on origin and then backout later on?
My hunch is that yes bf3 will be on steam but might not have the beta.
I thought the beta was going to be open anyway?
Best Price for bf3 I have found so far was around £23 ish with cashback and back to karkand in the limited edition from bee however reveiws are sketchy and not sure whether to even risk buying one of my anticipated games with an untried supplier.
I guess I can leave it till a bit later and see how things pan out and then if the beta is closed just preorder using origin to then gain access?
When us lucky few were playing the BattleField 3 ALPHA, a fair few other dMw's asked how to get the BETA (if not the Alpha) and buying MOH:LE was not really an option if they hadn't already done so. At least this offers a few people a "plan B"!
If £10 is too much extra, I suspect the two day wait won't hurt. I only got to rank 16 on the Alpha in a week. Ducky was in the 20's!
Interesting dealsin the UK Though.
QuoteBF3 PC Pre-order offers in the UK
[/HR] So after the Alpha ended I have been shopping around for good pre-order deals and offers.
Different retailers are offering different deals at different prices.
The Limited Edition includes classic BF2 maps (Karkand, Oman, Sharqui and Wake Island) with BF2 vehicles and weapons. Which is what every retailer on this list is at least supplying.
The Physical Warfare Pack is a time-based exclusive that will be unlocked to everyone later in the year anyway.

If anyone else has any other info for other pre-order services in the UK it would be good to post them in here to help people decide where best to pre-order the game from ^^
Right now I'm leaning towards the Amazon/ noobgroup version...
TL;DR post about where to preorder BF3 in the UK, bold info on preorder extras.
Turns out you can even order from any outlet and add the game to origin.
Infact all EA games after 2009 can be added to origin.
Looks like Game's deal is the most practical. I would still prefer to get it on Steam.. :(
