Title: Frustration is.......
Post by: TeaLeaf on August 21, 2011, 09:30:39 PM
Getting bored waiting for a flight at Toronto's Pearson airport and thinking you can pass the two hours until the flight by checking the Live Logs for the RGT raid and then realising that neither Whitey nor Hal are running them!

Grrr...! :frusty:

We called the wipe as it looked like we would easily get the kill and we didn't want you to miss it :D

A bit OT I guess but I did find I was having to double taunt to get agro during a number of tank swaps.  The new threat model means the tanks don't have to worry much about threat from the dps/healers but I've noticed a big change with tanks taking agro when they don't want it or not getting it when they do.  According to Bliz blue posts they want us stacking avoidance and not threat stats and that's the way i've gone (although I did soft cap expertise after the issues on Thursdays raid).  As a warning for Hal and Twisted I am going back to more mitigation/avoidance and IMO (and Blizzards) you should do the same to avoid issues with tank swaps and to help the healers.

That's going to take me from killing the bird in time to not killing the bird in time on Alysrazor. Oh well.

EDIT: Dropped Mind Freeze and a point from SoB to pick up 3/3 BCB.
Should be fine as FL isn't an interupt fest unlike the last tier. Oddly enough the same fight does require an interrupt on the adds which I *should* be able to manage.

With the extra dps we've had the last week or two, we should be ok.  The dps trinket(s) should do the job or even keep a piece or two of T11 with expertise/hit to swap in for that fight.
