Gents,
When we finally re-launch as TCS we will have a four-tiered structure.
1. Members
2. Badge of Honour members
3. Match playing dMw members (Ghosts/Zombies)
4. Special forces members
I'd like to start a discussion on shortened 'friendly' names for these levels.
An example:
1. Member
2. Badger
3. Regular
4. Special
Or it could be 'themed':
1. Ghoul
2. Demon
3. Ghost / Zombie
4. Vampire
So, let your imagination take flight and let's see what we can come up with.
Over to you.
I think the name needs to link somewhat to the style of participation, otherwise peeps will get migthy confused as to what's what......or maybe that would just be me
I like the idea of Community Member
I don't like Badge of Honour, prefer Advocate Member (but that sounds too formal me thinks)
I like Competition Member
I don't like Special Forces, want to avoid Elite references.
Bugger, I need to think about this more, it has been doing my head in.....
TL.
Red/Alpha Company/Squad/Troop
Green/Bravo Company/Squad/Troop
Blue/Charlie Company/Squad/Troop
Black/Delta Company/Squad/Troop

Hmmm. :(

Alpha, Bravo, Charlie and Delta Company - totally devoid of reference to what they do, but I actually like them! Does it tie in with the membership tiers we are trying to establish? What do peeps think?
TL.
I think that the names should in some way clearly show what it is about. For non dMw members they only need to know two things:
Community Member
dMw Member/Clan Member
For the dMw members we have the three levels. My suggestion is:
Clan Member
Match Member/Competition Member
SWAT Team (Special Weapons and Tactics)
Are not the members the ones who play the games? (ok so I'm most guilty of not playing matches).
But that would just leave
1. Members
2. Badge of Honour members
Much simpler on the mind and stands a chance of being remembered.
We need to put this to bed chaps. ..
We are ready to launch. Just some tweaking remains.
Like TeaLeaf I'm happy with Alpha/Bravo/Charlie/Delta Companies suggestion.
It's a short label that's easy to remember and easy to relate to the tiers.
