Saturday the server had reverted to "softcore" with Harvest Day as the only map and WolfCon down. I added a mixed list of maps and re-instated hardcore on Saturday morning.
This morning the server was down totally. Unfortunately I was out for the day, so while I could see it was dead, I had no access to multiplay on my iPhone (no passwords with me). When I got home at 5pm I restarted the server and CheesePuff, AL99 and TwoBad soon joined and seeded the server.
It looks (to me) like the new server is, if anything, less reliable than the previous one. I don't know what you guys think.
I'll keep a close eye on the server in the coming week and make a note of downtime - and get the server back up whenever possible.
Dead again this morning....

I have ongoing support tickets with Multiplay open on this issue. It's completely unacceptable what is happening right now.
All of the admins have access to ClanForge and can kick the server from there.

Hello.
You can get all your configs from clanforge -> files -> downloads. The profile itself will transfer over just not the data.

What's happening with our server? You transferred us to a new box but I noticed today that it went down at about 4am and didn't come back until I re-booted it this morning..

Hello.
This is a confirmed issue on the PLASMA back end. It has been recognized by EA and they are looking into it. Sadly this one is out of our hands at the moment. We will update clanforge/news when we receive more information.

04:16:12 clanforge_auto Server failed in under 30 seconds ( possible config error? )
Guys,
You obviously have no real interest in keeping our business. You blaming EA Plasma is a joke. Also, you've made no statemetn of the issues in under ClanForge news.
Our server crashed again last night halfway though the night when the server was full. Then I check this morning and the server is offline.
I would like to request some proof from you that it is related to EA Plasma as I've just spent the last 30 minutes trolling through the internet looking for recent instances. Outside of one of your own Swedish servers, no other hosting provider is mentioning EA Plasma issues.
Feel free to post it here or email me at dwebb@no-kamae.com (dwebb@no-kamae.com)

WHAT IS GOING ON EXACTLY?? I'VE HAD NO RESPONSE FOR DAYS FROM YOU GUYS.
Let's pick this up at the LAN, I won't have time to lay into people before then. We can run through what we'll do and possibly get people on the phone on Friday. Hope this is ok.
Map keeps getting stuck and no in game admin
That's normally when WolfCon crashes. Keep in mind you can always bring up ClanForge and go under live control to make changes on the fly..

John,
I take it that you are the support team manager or something similar.
We were expecting to have a call with yourself and one of the support staff yesterday at 2:30.
After waiting for over 20 minutes on the phone, we were told that there was no one that was able to speak to us. In the end we have asked for your details as well as your line manager's details to be emailed to us so we can attempt for a second time, to organise a conference call with you. This time we are expecting your line manager to be on the call due to the fact that there were three of us from our Community that were present to speak to you on Friday.
I trust this has been emailed to us as per our request.
Regards,
Dan
Is it me or are these guys just useless? I do hope we won't be using them in the future if we don't have too.
20 minutes on the phone also aint cheap...

Hi Dan,
My apologies for the delay in getting back to you. I was unfortunately not in the office on the day you wished to have a conversation with me, I apologise for the inconvenience that caused you and your community. I'd be happy to try and arrange a conference call with you if you wish however I'm confident I can resolve any problems you're having fairly quickly first and then I'd be happy to arrange some compensation in the form of extra time on your service as a sub standard support service is far from what we aim to provide.
If you don't mind could you please outline for me the main problems that you're having with the server at the moment and I will take a look at the issues personally?

We spoke to Chris McCall and asked him to email your contact details and that of your line manager's to tealeaf@deadmen.co.uk (tealeaf@deadmen.co.uk) or admin@deadmen.co.uk (admin@deadmen.co.uk).
To date that has not happened. Nor have you offered up your details for us to call you at a time convenient to both of us.

The support we have been apalling and while I hoped that Jonny Hughes would actually look into the situation and resolve it clearly the problem in your support team is at his level and above it.

Hi Dan,
I assure you I have been looking into the situation for you but have unfortunately been unable to resolve the issue so far. I replied to you yesterday morning to let you know that I was escalating this up to our 2nd line support team to look into, it seems that the email actually failed to send as I received a failure notification, my apologies for that.
I will ensure that the 2nd line team look at the server crashes with me today and I will reply by close of business to let you know my findings. It is not at all my intention to leave this unresolved and I am very sorry that it has been for so long.
Thank you for you on going patience.

Jonny,
Don't waste your time. Due to the poor support we will be winding down our server with you guys. In addition we've registered our BF3 server with another provider.
I will however be writing to your CEO whom I'm sure will send my letter on to the appropriate employee that is responsible for the overall support function at Multiplay.
Having spent many years in software I know what good support is and unfortunately we're not getting that from Multiplay. While I understand that we are just a small single server customer and such our voice is very small compared to some of your other customers but it doesn't excuse the poor support service that we have received from you.
I only hope that our letter is taken constructively and that as a business you consider what changes you might need to make to ensure that your customers don't continue to leave Multiplay because of the poor support they receive.
