Gents,

The rcon password for all L4D servers has been changed to:

B1gSt1ck

Lee is heading up TF2 on a trial basis so RCON PW for TF2 is tf2trial
Temporary password for CS:GO is dMwBetaCS

Do not share this with anyone outside of the admins.

Can we please make the rcon password something we can remember, it has caused a few problems for myself, squ0nk and albert.

Edit your config file/bind a key to it for goodness sake!  Aequos is a real word, so go improve your memory ;)

Would it be possible to keep the first post here with the password in it with the latest changedate or so?
 
I know, I'm new here but I'm looking in to stuff for adminning for the matchserver and so.

is it normale when i close hlsw,and after that i restart hlsw that i have put rcon again in options.?

Tick the HIDE and SAVE boxes - that way no one will see it over your shoulder or if you foorget to close HLSW before taking a screengrab. Of course I've never done anything that silly. no sirreee not me. :blush:

RCON PW changed as DuVeL no longer member of admin group. See first post for PW and remember to change it in HLSW and any scripts that you use or you will ban your IP :)

Remember that it is probably saved in files to do with RCONGUI if you use that at all.

It is in the bottom of "D:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\your account\counter-strike source\cstrike\cfg\rcongui\userdaten.txt"

CoD4 has it's own RCON password thread (http://www.deadmen.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=23843) and I'll update it when the password is changed.
