That's awful. Motorways are the safest roads but when it goes wrong it can go wrong big style. It's telling that several lorries were involved in the crash. The way many HGV's tailgate each other is terrifying. Add that to the fact that almost no one seems to drive at a safe following distance on motorways and throw in a  dollop of fog and it's a disaster waiting to happen. :sad:
