Title: DMR > Heroic Baleroc

Last night DMR's RGT raid group continued their Heroic mode progression and defeated the fifth of the seven Heroic encounters available within the Firelands raid instance.  Baleroc the Gatekeeper was the target this time and with five seconds before the enrage timer he was toppled.   This was particularly satisfying as we had opted for a three-healer approach which put extra pressure on the DPS to both perform at very high levels whilst maintaining the crystal soaking rotation with one fewer people than equivalent two-healer strategies.  The logs show the excellent numbers (http://www.worldoflogs.com/reports/c3w0p12rkbudi0ox/sum/damageDone/?s=9340&e=9696) with all of the melee & ranged exceeding 20k DPS and even our tank (Whytee) pulled 16.4k DPS.   An excellent performance to achieve this new Heroic mode kill!

Next up is Heroic Beth'tilac, the second hardest Heroic mode encounter in the Firelands instance and the penultimate test for DMR before we finally embark on the ultimate challenge of the Heroic Ragnaros encounter.   No ten-man raid guild on the EU-Aszune realm has yet killed Ragnaros on Heroic mode, so a successful Beth'tilac kill will bring DMR right to the forefront of ten man raid progression on the Aszune realm.

Well done DMR - and good luck with Heroic Beth'tilac on Tuesday!
