I wont be online till the damn game gets sorted, remember when I could play :( its a shame that i cannot stay on the server for more than 2 mins without the game crashing now fantastic will be on in a month guys! I have checked on forums and people are having the same issue so I am not the only one and no known fix yet got to keep waiting then.
Yeah BF3 has serious issues with some setups (e.g. 560ti though i think they fixed that..) just hope and pray that the next patch will fix it....
We were actually discussing this a bit yesterday. The difference between Dice and Bioware. The latter having a weekend beta test miles more stable then BF3 live. I guess this is the problem with games being made primerily for console rather then a proper platform. It takes the fun out of the game when you spend more time logging in to the game then actually playing.
Since last patch i have only had one CTD and i guess that is becuse i have my CPU overclocked.
The thing about this game is that most of the problems is with computer setups like most of you are saying!
But isent there "fixes" for most problems?
tweaking, drivers that all that!?
After search this morning I found one post saying that you have to change something in command prompt but they dont tell you what to change which is very helpfull. But my problem with this is that it "Used" to work I had no issues but now they post a patch breaking lots of games and look the other way. Getting a new setup after christmas anyway so hopefully problems like this one arise.
DICE have a long and sordid history of their patches actually making games worse.
Remember the BF2 patch that created a massive memory leak? They had to release a patch for the patch.
If they made the game for the PC as primary platform, I doubt we would be having this discussion. They switched platform halfway through, and rushed the release, going in Microsoft's footsteps bluring the line between live and beta. If this is how they treat the PC market, they should not charge full price for their product imo. It's a great game, but I don't like paying for unfinished products. If it wasn't a multiplayer game I would have pirated it on principal.

I really haven't had any issues other that haven't been fixed with a driver update and increasing the fan speeds. I guess I'm one of the lucky few.....

:roflmao: EA One of the biggest game developers out there? cant make a patch that works my game is still not 100% with origin not working correctly, I keep having trouble connecting to servers since the last patch, Restarting/origin or the pc normally works:blink:
