Has anyone had issues since the new patch? My Game Stutters badly which makes peoples voices on teamspeak sound like robots.
It crashes in a new and exciting way it didn't before. But on the other hand I haven't got the black screen crash or dissapearing window crash. It now consistantly locks up, good old freeze frame style and loops the last second of sound. After a few minutes W7 catches on and asks nicely if you want to kill it.
At least they are fixing 2 problems and only creating 1 new, not the other way around.
Since the patch I haven't had the "BF3 has stopped responding" message or mysterious quits to desktop when joining. It used to take three or four attempts to connect to a server because of that.
Not had anything that affects TS3, but then they are different programs, so they shouldn't affect each other.

I just remembered, I had the stuttering on TS also, but I fixed it by setting BF and TS to equal CPU resource priority. For some reason, if BF has higher priority it hogs all the CPU power. Making them the same priority did not affect the performance of the game, but removed the stuttering on TS.
No problems so far..
Updating my driver for AMD Today see if it makes a difference
Yeah no issues with the most recent patch for me. Didn't Vanguish have a similar problem last night? can't remember.
Dont know but im getting fed up with the problems in bf3
NVIDIA beta drivers, forced constant voltage with MSI Afterburner and forced 100% fan speed seems to increse stability.
I do agree it is really annoying that the game made release in it's current form. I would call it late beta, after the new patch. Stupid console kiddies ruining a PC game.
I have a problem as soon as a jump out of a tank etc. i keep running circle's and can't stop it.....
i tried removing all keybindings of the joystick (don't have one) but that didn't work aswell...
contacted origin now and lets see what they have to say..
jumping fences seems to be harder, other than that I must have a very strange game code or hardware build, so far I've crashed 1time for 20hours of play on average.
game plays fine since i updated drivers so thats good
I crash once every 2 hours or so now on average. It is much better, but still not there yet.

I had a problem involving TS with my ingame sound TE! Whenever anyone on TS would speak my ingame volume went to zero.... But that got solved by unchecking an option in TS
There was a guildie (don't remember who..... sorry) who was kind enough to tell me what to do!
Vanguish
Careful with that constant voltage switch, it only forces 3d voltage in 2d environments, might shorten the lifespan of your cardif you leave it on when not gaming, probably negligible but worth a mention
also the latest beta driver lowered fps by about 5/10% the new drivers run fairly smooth and no flashing triangles (not the artefacts but the odd flashing edges on shadows) but a bit slower, I have also managed to turn hyper threading back on since the patch and the nasty stutter seems to have abated, tha game runs 45-70 fps now, all settings on ultra, 4xaa, 1920 1200, biggest hit for fps seems to be in tank when using turret with someone driving, my boys got the game also and runs it on a gts 250/q6600 @3.2ghz, 4gb 1066, its on medium most settings at 1680x1050 runs 30-45 fps and still looks stunning, scales well with older hardware and still looks nice.
First launch of day used to crash 100% of the time which also seems solved.
Keep patching, im sure they can squeeze some more performace from the engine
since the new patch and updating my graphics drivers my performance is worse but only on the new maps? last night my gameplay was dire bad stuttering....it's not running smoothly at all its like being on dial up
Odd DD, I noticed higher vram usage on the new maps but nothing more than 100mb or so, they shouldnt be too much of a drain compared to the old, do you have an intel hyper threaded cpu?
If so try dissabling the hyper threading in the bios, when I first got the game I hadbad stuttering until i dissabled hyper threading.
I have it renabled now and the stuttering seems to have gone since the patch but everyones having different results.
Also try dissabling origin in game, this can be responsible for stutter, go to origin options and choose settings, then "ingame" and untick enable origin in game
The giveaway for me that something was wrong came when I lowered all settings to low and still had the stuttering, also try turning off v sync and tripple buffering, you can also force max frames to render ahead to 0 which may help, I have created a txt file in my bf3 folder called user.cfg and added the following lines:
RenderDevice.TripleBufferingEnable 0
RenderDevice.ForceRenderAheadLimit 0
Good luck
With my Rig i should be able to play the game on high setting ( I've currently got it on low as I always do this with playing games)
Hyper threading is already turned off in bios, I've got 8gb of ram so cant imagine it being that, I'll untick orgin when in game so thats cool, do i put the txt file anywhere in the bf3 folder mate?
