I'm sure some of you leave the internet alone sometimes and do something else, what's that other thing you do to fill your time :)
I spend some of my spare time around retro cars, in my case Audis. I've got three of them.
An 80 quattro 2.0

I love this car, it has Audis proper 4 wheel drive system with a torque sensing center diff, it sticks like glue to the road and is loads of fun, especially in the snow :D it just needs more power and was going to get a 1.8T engine with Megasquirt engine management when I spent my budget on a 20v Coupe quattro

It has a 2.3, 5 cylinder 20 valve engine which has that unique Audi 5 pot sound that I never tire off, I usually take it for a blast on a Sunday morning around the country roads, it's not a fast car due to the weight and gearing, more of a tourer, but I never miss an opportunity to drive it when I can. I intended just to keep it for a few months and sell it on, but that was a year ago, I'm addicted to the sound
The insurance is too expensive on it as a daily driver due to me needing business insurance, so I have a 2.6 80 Avant for trundling to work and back
(http://i629.photobucket.com/albums/uu12/benca/audi/Avant/111005122.jpg)
It's an auto so the daily grind through the traffic jams aren't so tiring but it likes to drink the petrol, but some of that is down to me booting it way too much, the kickdown in sport mode is instant :D
There is something outside the internet?
At the moment I have 2 hobbies that take up most of my time when I'm not glued to a screen. I'm also a car guy, some would even say car nut, though I loathe Audi. After owning one I may add, but no reason to go into that. Now I'm on my second Honda, and I couldn't be happier. I just parted with my Accord last year, and I now own and race a CR-Z Hybrid in AutoX :)
Pictures :)

And a little video :)

During winter there are no races though, so snowboarding takes most every weekend. Actually I just came back from the first day in the slopes this winter. Powdery snow and sunshine all day. Even though every muscle in me hurts right now, it was SO worth it! Got up at 7 this morning and took a 2 hour drive up to the mountain and didn't leave till they closed.

I cant drive yet so no car pictures & I'm not a good enough fisherman to show you my pictures of carp but atm my record is 18lb common carp cought at my local lake, I love it! I also enjoy going to the cinema, bike riding, photography and watching most kinds of sports on tv.
Well my work is taking a buckload of time lately, that with my studies doesnt leave much time for hobbies lately nor gaming, but currently in the market for a house, so i spend a fair bit of time trying to draw a nice one up which is gonna hopefully start construction sometime in the new year.
Whats left is spend on my old Chevrolet El camino, which getting some finishing touches before getting sold
If it involves punching people in the face I enjoy it!
I used to own a 1988 Audi Quattro which was without doubt the finest car I ever owned and quite possibly the finest car ever built.

Mine was gunmetal grey
My hobby right now is mining tilium and OP runs (http://eu5.battlestar-galactica.bigpoint.com/game/story)
Work, work, more work at the moment, but I used to have time for hobbies. My job is actually quite useful for one of my hobbies ... Travelling (Mixed with photography).
When there is no grit on the roads I can be found somewhere in the East of England on my Road Bike (Pic below - with n00b pedals fitted for the turbotrainer and not my normal SPD-SL outfit). I do a lot of endurance charity rides over the 100 mile mark in a day rather than time trailing.

Photography is something I enjoy immensely, but I am not one to mess about with Photoshop, more of a purist happy snapper. I don't have any pro kit so its all a bit make-shift.
I enjoy application development and web dev when I really get need a geek fix. I spend a lot of my time fixing other peoples machines and computer woes.
Building, maintaining, tinkering with stuff. Helped a friend build a pulley system and mount to get a load of heavy equipment up inter the rafter of his garage the other day and laid down some flooring to make a 2 storey tinkering area.
As the car I own is far from a performance sporty number you might be able to tell that driving a monster every day isn't really for me. However, I do enjoy tinkering with other peoples performance machines and generally geeking out with friends about gadgets, engineering stuff and tech. I go to lots of motor sport events around the UK on different weekends.
I'm also fiddling with cars, but not quite in your league (that Quattro is one of the few Audis on my "has-to-have" list Smilodon :)). With Bazer_Punk helping (well, him doing the work and me handing him spanners) I'm trying to get an old E36 320 (1992 BMW 3-series, 2 litre engine) to where i want it. 90% there with suspension and all. Sone rust repairs, a bit of cosmetic work and maybe a sports exhaust, and I'm there. Might want to do the engine too, but thats for another time :)
Other than that, I dabble a bit in photography (http://willyandre.deviantart.com) and I'm spending an increasing amount of time and money on shooting. IPSC ftw :)

I don't get a huge amount of free time outside of uni. My PhD is reaching a critical stage and come January the main bit of equipment I use is going off to Cern, never to return, so I have to do as much as possible while it's here. One of the few things I do however is climbing. Almost exclusively indoors, I have some outdoor kit but climbed with some very much more experienced people early on and got a little scared of the outdoor stuff. I've improved a little since then and indoors I'm generally fine top rope anything up to 6c+ without falling (though not necessarily on the first attempt - in fact generally not on the first attempt), anything above that seems to have evil moves that I still can't do.
Hopefully I'll get more interesting when my work dies down, but who knows, I might just play more games...
Rugby Union for me.
I play for Newmarket RUFC, support the mighty London Wasps (http://www.wasps.co.uk/) and love the game.
Very much looking forward to our away-leg game against a team from Barcelona next year... :D
Me and da_Ricci play Korfball. It's a mixed sport, one side is the attacking side with 2 males and 2 females vs 2 males and 2 females and 1 defending side with the same numbers. We actually play the sport allready 22 years now.
Here's a nice vid of it:
Just like everyone else here working and studies keep me busy, but every 1 or 2 weeks I run a small gaming club 10 to 14 strong which we play anything which dont involve computers and its just about anything one day it could be D&D next time monopoly. Other than that voice work for video's but no impressions sadly its either tutorials or animation which the guys at college are doing. :D
When I'm not wiping raids, driving fast cars (i had a go in an atom which scared the sith out of me) or going mad at my at my very taxing day job, I am a qualified floor and vault gymnastics judge.
I have kids, that's less of a hobby and more of a prison sentence :)
Just realised I'm really boring and need to find a new hobby.

qft!!!
Yes, I too have a little one to look after but I'd not swap that. Once she's in bed, I can play WoT quietly.
Other times, I'm heavily involved in the internet offerings of what is now a League 2 football club. I engineer and commentate on their live audio service (Radio WDON) and I do most of the editing and publishing of their free highlights service. (http://www.afcwimbledon.tv) I'm also involved in the production and publication of player and manager interviews for audio and video.
I think I'm supposed to be a proper journalist, as the Football League have to approve people like me these days.
For a ramshackle operation, the BBC used our playoff final coverage to open their show. I think that's recognition of sorts.
I do a lot of mountainbiking and enter a number of mountainbike marathons a year. I usually go out on the bike at least twice a week (quite enjoy the night-time forays in winter slip-sliding in the mud) and more often in the summer.
I also do a lot of horse riding, competing at local level doing dressage, show jumping, cross-country and one day eventing.

is this not similar to netball with less players?
Photography (Sony a200 with a few basic bits, nothing special)
Bass Guitar (bit rusty but it should get out now I have a slightly calmer job!)
Cycling is less of a hobby and more of a commuting option but it's still fun :)

Last time I've checked Netball was not a mixed sport (just read it is sometimes). We don't have a net btw and also other rules etc. Anyone on the attacking side is allowed to score and you don't have any roles like Netball.
Definatly not similar in my eyes but then again, I haven't watched a Netball game yet.
And actually, we have more players on the field, 4 attacking, 4 defending. Other team has the same offcourse. And you can score from anywhere you want while attacking if not defended.

Ah yes, I do this too. I have a pretty budget 5 string bass and a large 575 Watt Ashdown Evo 4x10 combo amp. I used to gig back in the day (how I could afford the amp) but now I have the occasional practice session which could be every couple of weeks or months. Very informal with no aspirations of gigging. I don't play it anywhere near often enough, I have so little time these days and I'm so easily distracted.

Nah, the good fun was with all the camping we had, and yes we did set up tents. :norty:
Mixed sports ftw.
Any MotoGP fans about?
.....I spend my time with that and a bunch of nerdy crap :)
