I bought a lottery ticket today so here's the deal, when i win you can have a go in the two seater I'll be ordering :D
"when I win" even if it's just win £10? Deal! :yahoo:
They start from around $65K US, not bad, but a years waiting list!
I want one!
I think the name is a bit misleading and that it was tested on a windless day on a lake and not at sea. I think it should more appropriately be called a Lakebreacher - if you used it in the sea it would snap real quick. I can imagine the foils being hit by a wave going the opposite direction when landing and just being ripped off (carbon fibre or no carbon fibre).
The second thing I can imagine is the number of watersport injuries going up. Letting someone power through the water when they can't see ahead of themselves because they are underwater is a recipe for an "everybody knows it is going to happen" accident.
Looks great fun though, sign me up!
