Title: Leveled up my Sith Juggernaut
Post by: Grimnar on December 26, 2011, 11:54:00 PM
Well after hitting lvl 50 today i will say a few things about the class that i play.

I started up a Sith Warrior Juggernaut and went full tank spec.

It is a nice and lovely melee class (has almost no ranged, very little aoe damage and it hasn't got an healing spec)
So it is a full time melee class that you will play.

Also because i went tank spec etc i was able to solo every normal quest easily (expect for the last 2 class quests) This was nice to do and to see as when i leveled up there where a few people asking for help on some quests in general chat that couldn't do the quest at his/her level at that time playing their class.
And yes i also had it easy and maybe even hard, because i was infront of most people with leveling so that my quests area's wern't over crowded with people etc. So i could just go and do my quest without any extra waiting time. The harder part was when i needed help or wanted to do a heroic quest there was almost no one available. (last planet i was on was an empty one, at that time there where only 11 Empire players on that planet and that was including myself)

A little tip for everyone:

Do all the normal quests, and a sort of must do is the bonus series you get at the end of the normal q chains of a planet. They are easy and loads of fun but more important they give loads and loads of xp.
I skipped the heroic quests and just did all the normal and side quests to level up. A few more are doing that and it seems to work as getting a group together seemed pretty hard for a few of us.

Also a tip for doing quests is that you do them in groups, do all the quests in an area and hand them in at the same time, include your class quest in that area do not wait for later as if it aint the last part of it the next part will be in your next area of normal quests. This way you won't have to travel alot and win some time ;)

Another thing are the bonus quests, These are very nice and most of the time easy quests. They help you alot with leveling and sometimes gives you nice upgrades aswell. If you are in an area try to kill some stuff that you see to notice if it has an bonus quest or not. (wildlife or any other mobs in the area)

Well that is what i had to say ;)

Now some more people get to 50 to do some flashpoints etc ;)

Congratulations ice on hitting the maximum level and further congrats if you were first to do it too.

Will be quite a while before I get to 50 what with it being the Christmas period and not got masses of time to play games due to the socialising. But some nice points on how to level quickly for those in a hurry to hit maximum.

Congratulations!

Also don't forget about the daily space missions. They do grant quite some nice XP and can be done with one hand at the back (up to lvl30 I have yet had any problems with them).

This is so very true, probably because I just love the Vader playstyle with slow big hits but especially force charge, force choke and force push.
On force push, it's probably the most lethal move you have as there are a lot of places where your target will go over the edge. It's also a great opener when you have split ranged adds - just run up to one, force push it to the other group, force charge and then smash. All nicely rounded up :)

I find my assassin awkward to play in comparison, probably as I'm doing it wrong and haven't spent nearly as much time researching it.

What I do is Discharge and Lacerate if mobs are close together, if not I attack one, then force pull the other to me and Discharge+Lacerate. That is with tank build though. Discharge only has the AOE effect when using Dark Charge. In place of force charge you do pulls with Stealth and Force Speed, or Force Pull if you are in combat and need to get to a second mob. You can also use Overload in place of Force Push, but it has an AOE effect, so in CC situations it can be tricky.

Having played a DK tank in WoW, I find Assassin tank to be quite familiar. My DK even had sprint as it was a Worgen ;)
