Jas’ Christmas Party Prep
I’m planning a massive Christmas party for DMR this year but due to all the snow my suppliers for drinks (Brewfest Direct) and food (Robby Flay’s Fine Food Emporium) were unable to deliver so I need your help to collect all of the ingredients. Please can you seek out the following items and deliver them to me safe & dry in Feralas.
Whilst not essential, you might find it be easiest to collect most of the goods in the order I have requested them, I’ve been shopping for years and it seems the quickest route to me!
Seeing as you’ve agreed to help me, could I also ask you to collect my cat, a Silver Tabby from Donni Anthania, the Crazy Cat Lady in Elwynn Forest?
Brewfest Direct have let me down badly this year and I need to source many of the drinks that I need, so whilst I remember, can you grab me a bottle of port and some cheese please? I don’t mind which, but I must have them for after dinner! Last year’s tipple also went down a treat, so you’ll need to get some Nethergarde Bitter from Bernie Heisten in Blasted Lands.
Perhaps you could also pick up the Brilliant Tourmaline I ordered to decorate the Xmas tree? Markus Scylan said he’d wait for you in Honor Hold.
My favourite Christmas tipple though is my own home-brewed mulled apple wine, so I’ll need you to collect a Cro’s Apple from Cro Threadstrong in Shattrath.
The meat for the main course at this year’s party is a little larger than usual, so I’m in need of slightly large carving equipment. I’ve ordered a special Dalaran Sword to do it and you’ll need to collect it from Valden Silverblade.
I’m planning to take the DMR party up-market this year so we’re having an hors d'oeuvre of pickled eggs, but you’ll need to collect one of the exquisite Blue Moth Eggs from Sixx in Exodar as Robby Flay had none in stock.
I’ll also need you to collect the seasoning, a Packet of Tharlendris Seeds from Mathrengyl Bearwalker. You should find him cooped up in his horribly damp tree house in Darnasuss.
Unfortunately Mathrengyl’s seeds, whilst delicious seasoning for our Christmas fare, will need drying before I can use them in my cooking. Damp seeds just don’t cook well, so before you deliver the goods to me the seeds will need to be air-dried. To do this please visit the Twin Colossus in Feralas and obtain a Colossal Parachute from Kalin Windflight. Locate the only bridge that is below and using only the parachute (no spells or other abilities) please jump off the top of the Twin Colossus towards the bridge below where you will find me waiting. The wind whistling through your bag as you hurtle towards the ground should dry the seeds sufficiently. Oh, but if you die during the air-drying process, the seeds will become sodden with your blood, so you’ll need to go back to the top of the Colossus, obtain another parachute and try again. I’ll not accept your goods if they are not in tip-top condition!
Once you have successfully air-dried the seeds, please meet me on the bridge and trade your NINE collected goods to me. I might even have a Christmas present for you if you have been good!
As a reward for your help, anyone who collects my items, air-dries them and hands them to me on the bridge will be given details of the breeding grounds of the extremely rare Santahoof veal that will grace my table this Christmas. You’ll need to find & slaughter the Santahoof for me but once you’re done your quest will be complete.

3,000 gold - awarded to the next person (other than the 1st & 2nd place winners) who has successfully collected all of the above items and handed them to Jas

Everyone who participates in the competition will also get a special Christmas prize from Santhoof!

As an aside, whilst I am a fashionable druid of some repute, I’m old fashioned when it comes to where and how my food gets to me. So please do NOT use any player-cast portals. By all means use your flying mount, hearth-stone or the permanent portals created by the old gods.
