We climbed up on the roof of my mate's apartment (5 story building), from where we could see all of Amsterdam. Was an amazing experience when the fireworks went up!

Nah. Probably been some stuff to increase security, like making some of the heavier stuff illegal, but as someone who just watches fireworks, I don't notice anything of it. Still the same old :-)
