I've been experinceing some really bad gameplay on our server Lag/stutter issues - Feels like im on dial up...but i'm not.
I've tested my game on various other servers on bf3 and had no problems (64 - man full server 40/40 servers etc in UK and elsewhere).
It surely cant be me? because it only happens on our server I think Pete (Duvel) has similar problems has anyone else experinced any problems? & Anyone know whats causing this?
Both my system and the boys system play fine even when playing together
I dont understand how i can play fine on other servers and on ours my gamplay lag/stutters/ is choppy
Can you see if you can find another server that is hosted by Killer Creations and see if you get the same or better performance? Ideally a UK server.
How can i tell who there hosted by mate?
Lil' update gameplay was improved after server restart but i think duvel is still having issues
Filter by server name = KillerCreation
You should get 25 to 30 UK servers, with both B2K and vanilla.

Yeah after the first map changed it went back to normal...I'm gonna try and play on another killer creations server tonight and let you know what happens
FYI I am also starting to notice lagginess and stuttering on our server,
although not to the extent of DD & Duvel
just went on a killer creation server with 3 players on it me included - the lag/stutter issues were worse and almost unplayable on this server (it was located in the UK and my ping was 18)
Guys, perhaps we should as a group (DD, Blunt, me and anyone else who wants to try) go onto an empty CC server and play a round. Also, we should try other providers at the same time.
CC? My gameplay is fine and perfect on servers that are not hosted by killercreation it would seem (although not really sure why) I've got work till 19:45 tonight
Sorry, meant KC. Yes but why is it only some of us? We need to do more investigation. Also, who's to say that if we were to change to a different provider I or someone else would get the trouble you are having now?

How do you know? You have tried ours and one(?) other, how do you know that the "other" servers you've been on which played fine weren’t KC?
ive put a support ticket into KC hopefully they will get back to me, ive had a look on battlelog server history and the rest of the servers ive played on are hosted by different providers...when i get in tonight i'll try some more KC servers as most of them are empty.
give me a shout in steam or origin and I'll come with you.
I suggest we start on ours to make sure we have stuttering before we dip into a few others.

Don't think Battlelog shows who the host of a particular server is!

That's cool, hopfully some of these will be empty and we can follow you on to test. My point eralier was you can't be sure that NONE of these other servers which don't have a provider in their name are not KC, i don't think ours says Killercreation anywhere.
It will be interesting to look at the hosted hardware for our server and others which you don't have an issue with.
i tried 1 other killercreation server tonight located in the UK same lag/stutter issues but no where near as bad as ours tried to connect to two other different servers hosted by killercreation and game crashed on each connection attempt (which is what i often have with our server).
erm... killercreation got back to me with my support ticket and told me to log into the control panel (which is somthing to do with server side? ...didnt have time to do anotehr support ticket this morning. So left it at that).

The CP for our server can be accessed by TL, Myself and TwoBad (assuming it's been set up). I'm not sure how you can log into the CP (unless you have your own?). I've checked ours and there's no ticket related to this issue that I can see. Do you want me to post something in the KC forums?

As per TS conversation last night, I've not had any problems. I know that doesn't help.
Could your ISP be traffic shaping and have KillerCreation's IP range "blacklisted" as a source of downloads, so be speed-limiting packets? Who is your ISP? (please don't say TalkTalk/Tiscali/Pipex).
I sometimes have issues as well, but I know my ISP throttles traffic. I usually get around it by encrypting my protocols for downloads etc. I have CanalDigital as my ISP.
ISP is Virgin Media.

Also my NAT Settings are set to moderate could this be causing my problems?

any chance you can set your NAT settings to Open?
im not really sure how i've tried to before without luck....on my router settings my NAT settings are either "open" or "secured" they've always been set to open but the nat settings always come up as moderate, not sure if i have to open ports for it to be open rather than at moderate?
