In the new year the nForce2 is going to be tweaked to keep its market share in the socket A segment ahead of peeps like VIA. They will not mess with the main Northbridge, but will be making specific changes to the Southbridge.
So in early 2004 look out for the nForce2 400 Ultra with the new MCPS 1000 southbridge! The S is or a Serial ATA controller and the 1000 denotes a Gigabit LAN controller :D
So, as long as Benny gets a new nForce2 S1000 mobo for the next LAN and we supply a Gigabit switch at the next LAN, then I guess you'll all be happy? ;)
