I like many members of dMw bought the Karkand pack when the game was released and haven't been able to play the maps I primarily bought the game to play (having a big place in my heart for these BF2 classics).
Since December I have been unable to complete any Assignments because they require the Karkand maps to finish. I for one, am glad of a restoration of these maps to the rotation.
Being a dMw admin, I rarely play on other servers, as I prefer to seed our server.
My personal preference is for all the Karkand maps, as I only like the BF3 maps "Caspian border" and "Grand Bazaar" - the rest in my opinion, are vehicle-less choke fests, reminiscent of Call of Duty. However, the majority of regular players have the say and the consensus is for city maps including those from Karkand.

The Karkand maps are easily better than nearly all of the original BF3 maps (with a few notable exceptions).

It's slightly distressing that of the maps DICE have created for BF3, the best ones are recycled from an old game.....

It's just an additional 15E I have not found a reason to pay. It's shaking me for money, that's what it is.

There was plenty of discussion on the server side of things of how we were/are going to progess with rules/server setup/map rotation before we all got the game/server/pre-orderd etc and I for one am glad we have a B2K Map in rotation because like arithon i dont get alot of game time atm and when i do it's on our server to seed/play I certainly didnt pre-order the game to not play the B2K Map pack which was free when you did pre order.

Bf3 is the only game i play online properly within the dMw Community I would be a bit cheesed off if we were to remove the b2K map from rotation again

I can't disagree with Le Rouge regarding the DLC shakedown, but I HAD to buy B2K because of BF2.
I am usually very much against money-grabbing DLC ( I haven't got the CoD BO DLC and we don't run it on our server)
But B2K is my favourite maps (happy memories of BF2 "Monkey's in the trees!")
I don't know, I'm torn...

B2K was free ;) I also think many of the B2K maps are easily better than all the original BF3 maps. Especially on rush.

I would be disappointed if I didn't get to play B2K on our server.
