For those of you with AMD cards, the latest 12.2 drivers may start popping up.
There are lots of reports of GFX corruption on games we tend the likes of
Skyrim
SWTOR
StarTrek Online
and others
Little blocks all over the screen.
So might be best not to let it auto update, I'm about to roll back.
Yup same problem Lib .... went back to 11.something and all was well again
Had the blocks on Stor and Wow
This is where some smart-arse would normally come along and tell you that you should have just bought an Nvidia card instead.
But I won't do that. Nope.

Thanks for the heads up
Avoided nice one saved me just about to click it :D
Yup, Steams now carrying the faulty version and there is a mention of GFX corruption on Skyrim in the "Known Issues" section, it says it will be fixed in 12.3.
Now I have the 12.1 drivers ready for reinstall, I'll allow it to install 12.3 when they are released and see if it fixes the issues.
I would guess that because it's affecting at least 2 of the biggest games at the moment, it will be a quick turnaround.
I would expect a hotfix to come out pretty quickly.
i bet there are some console guys out there in internet land laughing at this, especially as it affects skyrim. Well i would point out that the ps3 and xbox360 version have been specially written for each console so they have a known hardware set to work with. Now if we go back to the PC and think of all the motherboards/cpu/ran/gfx/memory/hd combinations you can have (must be a big number) then if once in a while this happens.......... well its not a big issue as you can roll back and wait for a fix.
can you roll back a console update? imagine if it happened to them lol
Thanks for this thread, I got the reminder from the ATI software to download 12.2 as I booted up this morning. I've clicked 'Skip' and will wait for 12.3 or a fixed version! It's probably saved me a bunch of problems

sadly i went to my pc half afsleep this morning and probably left my brain in bed and clicked accept -.- and holy crap that driver is fubar... so had to get through all the trouble of driver cleaner and digging up a 12.1 driver
12.3 is out & 12.4 beta drivers are kicking about if anyone wants to update, I'm just dl'ing the 12.3 now.
The thread on ocuk about the betas suggests there nice for BF3.
Don't know about BF3, but 12.3 doesn't have the graphic glitches present in STO and Skyrim that 12.2 had, which were probably the same as the BF3 ones.
So I'm running 12.3 without any isses at the moment.
