Title: Rule Clarifcation for RUSH MODE
Post by: TheDvEight on April 18, 2012, 07:28:30 PM
The set of m-coms has blown up and the defenders spawn has changed to the new set of m-coms but the defender is still in his OLD SPAWN (where the old set of m-coms were ) & he doesnt move from this area until killed....steals a tank and gets kills aganist the rules?.

*Please note Duvel was doing this* (19:20 GMT)

I did ask Duvel not to steal enemy tanks

For the above there is no rule aganist it (there was in BC2) so i used my inicitive and asked duvel not to steal the tank but told Ghost it was OK for duvel to be in the old spawn.

Am i correct in this? (there needs to be clarifacation if it is a rule then the bf3 rules need to be updated)

It's upto you to clear your spawn & if there's enough people in game to use a tank then why shouldn't he? He didnt enter the spawn to steal the tank, he was already there, so it's fair game isn't it?

DD, YOU have asked this question before (http://www.deadmen.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?34407-dMw-BF3-Server-Rules-Explained-Post-your-feedback-here&p=337394&viewfull=1#post337394) and the answer is still the same (and it WAS the same in BC2).

It is up to the attacker to clear his new base.  But once clear the defenders can not come back.

If you aint cleared your base then tough, its not stealing.  Defender going back to his old base (attackers new) is the same as stealing from uncaps.

Remember, if you are defending then you should stay roughly around your mcons to defend, not push back to where the attackers now spawn.
