So the last 5-6 weeks or so we havent actually fielded a full RGW grp....this has been to to RL commitments, illness, holidays etc....
Now i think everything has passed and we really need to start progressing through some HC bosses in DS. So gona ask everyone to read up in the boss section on the forum and pls read for the next 3 bosses after morchok....There are loads of tips and such from RGT and TL has taken the time to produce some excellent videos which will help us all.
From weds it is nerfed again....another 5% dmg and health deacrease....So our 1% on the blob dude is a kill.
Its easy just running through the raid and clearing in a night but i for 1 really want us to achieve 3or4 hc kills in the near future.
So please read up on tactics,gem and chant properly,get rotations spot on. We will do this fairly easily if we all focus.
We are currently trying to recruit a DK tank and a resto shammy, which imo will bolster our forces considerably. We are looking for exceptional dps also. If you know anyone that may be interested get them to apply :)
Would be nice to get some progress on the hc's idd! With the new nerf & ppl getting some more normal (or legendary :narnar:) gear over the past couple weeks it should hopefully go pretty smooth

The trouble with hagara is the movement,i can hold my hand up and say im pretty crap @ movement as we all know and i know a few others in RGW are also,so that will be a fun 1!
Please read the boss threads for all the tips from RGT. Watch the fatboss vid for a introduction to the fight but then please subscribe to Tl's you tube account and watch the video's he's produced as these go into more detail so you can make notes and such.

As i've said i don't really care much in wich order we kill Hagara and Zonoz.
But, i wouldn't mind having a go on them both. Maybe just to see wich one of them suits us better atm.

Yep, I'd like to give Hagara a go too :) Sometimes you can surprise yourself and be better at something you didn't expect to be any good at :) If that makes sense...

The problem is the way Blizz changed the threat mechanics and allowed tanks to actually do DPS, so they count as a melee DPS class now in encounter design. Thus you have 3 raid roles not 4: melee, ranged, healer. RGT have done every Heroic fight with 2 melee plus tanks, so on a 'melee-unfriendly' fight like Warmaster we can still run a total of 4 melee! 40% of the raid spots for one third of the raid roles is ok by me :p

I'd say, let's do a couple more tries monday on zonoz being bit more organized (read boss compendium). If we see some good progress we can keep going & who knows, maybe get a kill.. If we still struggle then idd go for a normal kill & then have couple tries on hagara hc.

@Cynba, tbh i think Zonoz is Alot eazier then hagara.. on hagara a small individual mistake = a wipe.. zonoz is a little more forgiving.
Also TL is going to fraps our kill for zonoz tonight so it might be abit eazier on Monday :)

As Hubbah said, we'll try to Fraps the HC Zon'ozz kill tonight and pump out a video guide. We only realised this past week that we had somehow forgotten to Fraps this boss so far!
I officially hate the zonozz fight, not for my own part, as tanking it is fairly easy. Its so melee unfriendly its just a laugh. with all ranged id imagine this fight to be much much easier
I hate most the fights on hc as a healer,its so much harder :P im a lazy dr00d but it is fun being pushed.
Yeah its not that melee friendly,but as tl stated rgt and im sure other guilds run with 2 melee. We just need to get the grps organised better as what is in the boss thread so the flails/eyes will get nuked down quickly and efficiently.
We only had about 6/7 tries on it and even with the nerf due the mechanics of the fight it can be a bit of a bugger...we just have to practise :)...as we can clear the last 3 bosses in about 40 mins we will be on this boss for the 1st hour on monday then a few tries on hc hagara just so we can have a look at the fight. Hc utra...kill...then a clear :)
Heroic bosses need some time and application. The biggest way to improve is to keep trying and then analyse why you failed to correct it for next time. 6-7 tries won't cut it in heroic, you need to put your nose to the grindstone!
Totally agree with you TL....RGW have just been clearing for a while now...now its time for the grind.
So rgw get ready for alot of release and running :P....at least we have the knowledge of the fights from rgt vids and such....These chaps spent 140 odd wipes on 1 boss...Now we have their videos and comments in the forum so lets use it to our advantage and not lose heart when we wipe alot....its going to happen its called progress :)

We have got a great grp running now...people are responding to ts,people are moving (i know im still bad at this) yet we are getting the kills we all know each otheres weakneses and such but we are all improving.

Sithy....Nuff said...this dude does alot more than ppl realise behind closed doors (apart from washing up).
Yaril...Health candy and just great :) hc ultraxion solo killer .
Cynba....again easy mode dps like Nims (joke) very clear on ts with calls and orb manager :) a great asset to the team.
Hendrik...our own heroic pally.Great on calls, great on heals and not such a bad tank either :P

Rox...only couple fights in but very skilled and cant wait to see more out of you.

Three HC bosses down last night with little hassle apart from Nims double suicide on Morchok. There was some real progress on Hagara too. To reiterate what switch said, we have a great team now and RGW is at its strongest position ever. We have cover on heals and tank and even had a subs bench last night.
Having subs on the bench is single most important aspect of the raid group and I'm stoked that RGW are now looking so strong. Everyone should see the bench for what it really is:
The bench is the bit of the raid group that makes sure the raid ALWAYS goes ahead and never stops.
No bench/queue for raid spots = those awful nights where you are missing people for a full raid and that's when progress stops, so I hope all RGW rejoice in the bench and take your turn on it happily - we all take our turns to sit on the bench in RGT, even the officers.
Keep up the good work RGW :) :thumbsup:
and now a days when we have livestream its not such "pain" to be benched. you can see and learn the fight while the rest of the group does it.

First 2 bosses went down very smooth not 1 death in the camp :)
The Ball boss then wiped us for the rest of the night. We did lose focus and the correct call was made to call it a night early.
It was tough but I feel that with a new healer set up we shouldn't get too despondent progress was being made on the dispels positioning use of soul stone on dispel etc.
Just my 2 cents..

I asgree that it was the right call to end the raid early, maybe even a bit sooner :P Ppl weren't focussing, TS was waaay to quiet and frustration was building up.
I'm sure these things happen and i also know it's been very hot the last 2 weeks all over Europe and ppl might be feeling very slackerish :p but... Let's not let this happen again! Nobody likes to wipe all night on a boss they've killed before ( twice ), and to waste their time on this.
Let's get our progress to another level and continue the way we were!
Yup it was a bit of a bugger....but as nims says weve killed twice before no reason for him to hinder us.
For me though the ball just seemed crazy....going all over the place so having to run to get hit by it....so losing a heal or 2 in the process....then playing catch up.
