As the release of the Battlefield 3 Cloase Quarters DLC is this month, for those of you that have purchased the Premium Package or the DLC itself please post below.
Once we get to the full release date (including PC) perhaps we can arrange a night to put the maps (yes.. all 4 of them) on the server for a trial run.
NF
tadaaaaaaaa ;)

It's just the premium users that can play/buy CQ DLC now right?

something like that :D
Me (should I hang my head in shame?)
I'll be getting it I woulda thought but not til the end of the month

Nope just be happy ;)
Is it possible to buy the DLC releases 1 at a time?
I note the final Premium release is March next year, and I would rather
(1) EA not earn interest on my money if I can't play what I've just bought
(2) I'm not sure I'll be playing BF3 next year
(3) Not pay for B2K again
EA are getting ridiculous now.

Yes it's possible. But you get the DLC two weeks / one week after the premium users.

Ye it is possible, but you will end up with a total cost higher then buying the dlc's one at a time.. And you dont really buy B2K again, as you probably got it for free with BF3 preorder and you just get it for free again with premium ;)
If you must buy Premium OCUK have it for £34 here (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CO-073-OK&groupid=1720&catid=1728&subcat=).
£33 at Tesco Entertainment (http://www.tescoentertainment.com/store/game/pc-battlefield-3-premium/8:944652?) - plus a further £5 off using this code: 5OFF30, so you pay £28.57! Saving £11.42
Release date on 22nd June (next week) - this is a "preorder" price.
Will you stop tempting me!!!!!!!
Does that mean both of you will be getting it now?

Anyone try this using the code? I was going to get it this morning but it wouldn't let me use the code for some reason..
There are 1 error(s) that require your attention before you can proceed
You can't use that promotional code here.
Is what i got.
yup.. same here
Like Blunt said, I don't know if I'll be playing the game next year, so I'm just going to grab these packs as standalones. Will get CQ as soon as it releases though :)

Yay!:roflmao::rolleyes:
nope not I
How is the new DLC? Any fun?
I might just go for the vehicle dlc after if this isn't worth it, don't want to be completely cheated out of my money... only slightly!
Got to admit I stood tall for a while, but then I purchased Platinum for the two DL.
CQ is quite nice. I saw only DM as a gameplay just yet, these are relatively small maps, but for now - great fun.
I played Gunmaster for a bit on the new CQ maps, its quite fun when you get used to it, and want to do something else..
Managed to snarf the Premium for £25, but have to say the "Close Quarters" maps are very Call of Duty MP in scale and set-up. Played each of them once, but I won't bother again.
A proper BattleField map set would have a whole city block with each building explorable, rather the the whole thing in a single building. Close Quarters is the antithesis of what BattleField has always strived to be. I consider this DLC to be COD-player grooming at it's most creepy!
I'm waiting for the Armour maps - after all it's BattleField, not BattleRoom...

Where did you get it from? Was that the Tesco deal?

Indeed hoping the Huge maps and increased vehicle limits in Armored will bring the game more in the battlefield genre..
Closed Quarters are not really BF maps, but CoD, its fun for a while, but not to long..
Well I've not got them and don't plan to either
Thos CQ maps are not all bad.

Yep. Tesco price £33 + "£5 off £30 spend" voucher code + Mrs Arithon 10% Staff discount = £25...

Hmm I have a load of clubcard points which I've never used since I've signed up for it (and I have NO idea how they work), am very tempted to get this and splash out my points.
Really excited for Armo
ured kill especially
Anyone know how clubcard points work - i.e. how many points = how much cash you save?
CQ aquired. Played a few maps, and they're excellent. Tight fights on multitiered office building? Niiice :D
Looks like you can get close quarters on its own now for £11.99. http://store.origin.com/store/eaemea/en_GB/pd/ThemeID.850300/productID.247065100
Are people getting it?
no. seriously those who have it how much do you play it?
i bought it yesterday.
My initial thought is that the new maps suck when theres 32 or more players on them.
But the new weaponry is a nice edition to the game.
I really like the Aug.
Quote from: .DickDastardly.;354785no. seriously those who have it how much do you play it?
Still playing them a bit as i quite enjoy the new maps, modes etc, might be because they are fresh, but still fun

Seconded, especially if your playing against Faust and he's on TS!
Just got the Premium, feel milked out, but who knows, cows might like it too o.O
Got it ordered for 28 sterling thanks to Arithon, but probably won't get my hands on it until I get back to the UK around mid-Aug, cannot wait!
