First of all, hello :)
You
Can you and will you speak actively with other guild members on Teamspeak and in guild chat?
Well, generally speaking I am sociable person, and certainly able to babble with the best. I tend to shy away from TS cause it feels too much like voices in my head, but if needed I can make people cringe with my terrible foreigner accent :)
Who are you? Where are you from? How old are you? What kind of work do you do? Tell us a bit about yourself!
Well, I suppose I'm slightly past puberty, most likely hitting 40 by the time 40k online gets released. I hail from Greece where I slave endless hours working as a software engineer that doubles as a datacenter admin when the sith impact the proverbial fan. Like most Greeks, I am also oppressed by Her Serene Majesty the female, so in general my interaction with MMOs is borderline casual these days.
Do you have a stable internet connection?
I don't have a stable country :) Connection seems to be ok in comparison, just too laggy to play any FPS seriously.
How long have you been playing computer games and what kind?
My first PC was a ZX-81, with a scrounged keyboard and an 0.9kb assembly listing for a racing game. Been playing things ever since.
What kind of raiding experience do you have?
I've wasted countless hours slaughtering Mids and Albs in DaoC in organized raids, and raided almost through all wow content up to Firelands in groups of 40/25/15/10 or whatever. Cleared EV/KP on normal and most of the Hard Modes while on Frostclaw. I can probably function in a raiding environment, although I am not terribly interested in raiding progress.
What other guilds have you been in and why did you decide or were forced to move on?
For the last 7 or so years, my only guild has been The Army of Darkness (//www.thearmyofdarkness.com), mostly wow stuff, with the odd branching out to other games, but never seriously. I am done with wow, and sadly, the majority of the guys are done with SWToR, so I suppose it's time to try new things.
What are your plans for the game?
Plans and game, are two things I really don't want to put in the same sentence after so many years of running a progress oriented wow guild. I really have no plans, I just want to see the rest of the content I missed in SWToR and have some company to spend a few pleasant gaming evenings now and then. I doubt my schedule would allow me to participate in anything more involved, really.
Your character
Why did you decide to play this class?
Closest thing to a shadow priest there is.
What do you think your class' role is in raid content?
PEWPEWDPS - While I have no issue healing, I would strongly advise against it. I suck at keeping people alive.
Comment on your build. Why did you choose it?
Madness is so alluring. Also pretty useful in PvP
This guild
What do you look for in a guild?
People that can outhink amoebas on their best days. A friendly environment.
''Dead Men Walking'' - What comes to mind when you see that guild name?
Sean Penn?
There are other guilds on the server, why did you apply to us?
Well, name & "metatheme" is very close to what AoD was. Philosophy is similar. C'est tout.
Who do you know in Dead Men Walking? How do you know them?
None
Have you read our 'what we look for' and 'philosophy' posts? What do you think of them?
The L33T HaxX0r in me died somewhere in the Reliquary of Souls.
A guildie says something you find offensive, what do you do?
Having been the person that was responsible for benching lootwhores and picking raid teams for at least half a decade, I think I have been offended in every way known to man, and then some. In general, I do not offend easily, especially in a gaming context.
Cake or Pie?
Tanqueray and Tonic.
Nice app we will get back to you asap.
Welcome mate
