Are you applying for a Raider position, or Social membership?
I am applying for a social membership, for a couple of reasons, mainly I have never done any raiding and secondly I can't commit to certain times every week, due to work college and family.

Tell us a bit about yourself! Who are you? Where are you from? How old are you? What kind of work do you do?
My names Martin, I'm 25 and live in Dumfries, Scotland.  I work for a Plastics Manufacrturing Company called Dupont Teijin Films for the last 9 years.  I was a trainee for 4 years before gettin a permenant contract and working shifts.  As well as work I have been going to college and just recently achieved my HNC in Computing, and hopefully over the next year or so I hope to achieve my Cisco ccna and microsoft qualifications.

Tell us about your personality, and why you enjoy the game.
I'm easy going and laid back (wife says i'm to laid back), I'm not easily offended and enjoy a good laugh and chat.  I used to play alot of LOTRO and was then tempted over to WOW and I haven't looked back.  I enjoy the social side of warcraft and meeting new people who enjoy the game and want to have a good time.  I really enjoy questing in WOW and find i can easily kill a few hours doing not alot in game.

How long have you been playing computer games and what kind?
I have been playing computer games for as long as i can remember starting with my Sega Mastersystem 2.  Other consolesi have owned are N64, playstation 2 & 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, Ds, 3Ds & PS Vita.  The main games I play are sports games like Fifa, madden, top spin & football manager.  I enjoy playing RPG's as well Skyrim and Mass Effect being my favourites.

There are other guilds on the server, why did you apply to us?
To be honest I wasn't really looking to join a guild but Incendia kept nagging me to join, but having read through the website and forum I think the Guild have a lot o fideas and people like me who i could get on with and have some fun in game.

What other guilds have you been in and why did you decide or were forced to move on?

I have been in a guild before, but i took a break from the game and when i came back the guild had disbanded.

Who do you know in Dead Men Raiding? How do you know them?
Incendia.  Unfortunatly for me I have known him since i was a kid, wityh our parents being friends.  We now work for the same company and for a while even trusted to be on the same shift!

Have you read our 'what we look for' and 'philosophy' posts? What do you think of them?
What do you look for in a guild?

I have read both and I agree with a lot of what you have put in those posts and are a good basis for a strong guild.  With a Guild i look for a group that can get on and have a good time on the forums and in game and at the same time know how the game should be played.  I believe a guild should be helpful to each other so that all members can get the most out of the game and hopefully learn new things and better there game experience.

Do you actively play any alts that we could find you in in case we need to contact you?
Not at the moment, but will look to roll a new alt once Mist of Panderia is released.

''Dead Men Raiding'' - What comes to mind when you see that guild name?
Dead Men Raiding makes me think of some sort of pirate film.

What are your plans for the game? In what way would you like others to know you?
I'm just wanting to enjoy the in game experience and level my char and hopefully try some raiding at some point.

Name one thing you don't like about WoW in its current state.
There isn't alot i dont like about WOW at the moment, mainly just how much time it can take up, but thats not a game issue..

A guildie says something you find offensive, what do you do?
To be honest I am not easily offended and if someone said something offensive I would send them a Pm (so as not to clutter threads) explaining why i was offended and if there was a why to sort it.

Cake or Pie?
Cake always cake although it needs to be Gluten Free.
