My name is Rhoda I am a 30-something year old female. I live in the UK â€" specifically Worcestershire. I am by day a Nurse â€" so to pre-warn it has been known that I am expected to work the late shift, however, I generally try and wiggle my shifts so that on any raid nights I am finished work by 3 in the afternoon. I live with my son and my mother who also play WoW.
What kind of internet connection do you have?
I live in the countryside, so I don’t have a super-fast whizzy type of connection, but it’s fast enough to support me raiding and 2 other PC’s playing WoW at the same time.
What are the core specs of your computer?
Ok, I’ll try (I’m not the best with spec and shiny PC parts. I have windows 7 64bit. NVIDIA graphics card (apparently it’s a rather nice one) the reason I don’t know what’s inside very well, is that I used to have a boyfriend who did everything for my PC, and I know it’s very slack of me not to be aware, but all I know is it functions very well â€" sorry for lack of info.
How long have you been playing computer games and what kind?
I started off on simple console games, and then started to mess about with PC games (tomb raider). The first online game I played was EVE and this was pre-WoW. So, I guess all in all I’ve been playing computer games now for roughly 10 years.
What kind of raiding experience do you have?
I started raiding back in TBC with Kara, then went onto BT and Mount Hyjal and did a little sunwell- I didn’t do so much raiding back in TBC just had really started to dabble. Then the LK expansion came out and I did Naxx, Ulduar, ToC, ICC â€" with some HC progression in ToC and ICC. Cata expansion all content cleared â€" BWD, BoT, Throne, FL and DS. Again some HC progression but more recently not due to guild absentees.
What other guilds have you been in and why did you decide or were forced to move on?
Chaos Inc. â€" friends guild left to try raiding.
Damage Inc. â€" guild dabbled in raids but not enough for the raid bug I had discovered.
Fellowship of the Horn â€" Raiding guild which led me onto join Crude Crusaders which I was in until the release of Wrath of the Lich King.
*all of the above were Horde guilds*
I then was persuaded by my current boyfriend at the time to make a couple of Alliance characters, as he wanted me to raid with him. Which I did, I made my priest and mage. I then applied to join Equanimity. I was invited in on my mage as they didn’t have room for my priest at the time. The reason I left equanimity was due to relationship breakdown with my boyfriend, and as equa’ was considered in my eyes his ‘home’ it felt only right that I looked elsewhere, so, I then joined some friends in Paradoxx whilst I found a guild to join. I then joined slackers and raided with them until FL HC started. During which I then went to help out some friends who were struggling with the content. I realised that they wouldn’t be able to clear DS so I came back to Alliance where I was asked to join Eternal â€" this is where I am currently with my shaman and other chars. My priest idrÃl is currently guild less (due to faction change).

What are your plans for the game? In what way would you like others to know you? Tell us about your personality, and why you enjoy the game.
I want to see more of the end game content. I feel that I come across as being a friendly and approachable person, if I can help I will. I enjoy this game because I’ve made a lot of friends on this server over the years.
Name one thing you don't like about WoW in its current state.
It saddens me to see our server so quiet.

Why did you decide to play this class?
I chose to play a priest originally shadow spec as I didn’t feel so confident to heal a raid at that time. However, since those early days I have branched off into the healing side of my priest. I love healing and feel this offers more challenges to me personally â€" keeps me on the edge of my seat for sure
What do you think your class' role is in raid content?
Comment on your build. Why did you choose it? What do you think of other builds of your class? Why didn't you choose one of those? (important question)
The spec I have chosen is quite a standard holy build from the research that I’ve done around priest builds. I feel that spec compliments my stat weightings â€" I have chosen to go with spirit -> haste (12.5%) -> mastery. I do like more haste especially for the extra ticks off of the HoT’s. This is my thinking and I have applied this to my shaman as well, I tend to favour haste in her build too. I do tend to spend a lot of time researching/reading around my builds and classes as I try to stay up to date and constantly find new bits of info that I wasn’t completely aware of (there’s always someone more clever than I )

What do you look for in a guild?
I look for friendliness a place to feel welcome yet a guild that gets done what it sets out to achieve. Ideally a raid spot too, preferably as a healer but am open to trying DPS again.
''Dead Men Raiding'' - What comes to mind when you see that guild name?
Without sounding totally cheesy the name reminds me of the death row comment â€" but raiding instead of walking and maybe with a little less federal orange :D
There are other guilds on the server, why did you apply to us?
I’m applying to yourselves because you are a guild whose ethos seems to meet what I’m looking for, as well as I can honestly say that I have never seen in trade anyone putting you down as you can see of other large known guilds.
Who do you know in Dead Men Raiding? How do you know them?
I know puja; I met puja when I was in equanimity.

Yes I have, and it’s very encouraging, I like the sound of what you can offer.

A guildie says something you find offensive, what do you do?
I would ./w that person explaining that I found what had just been said offensive, try to resolve the issue â€" if there is an issue, but to mention it does take a fair amount to offend me due to my job.
