Title: Warm
Post by: BrotherTobious on July 03, 2012, 09:48:47 PM
Right warm was slightly upset this evening as he was invited in and then told we were already full and told by Lurek he wasn't needed.  So he got up set I spoke to him and he stated on a normal run we should have 2 rdps and 2 mdps.   But was over ruled.  I asked Lurek if I gave up my spot if it would mess up the run he said no so I offered it to him and he declinded it Lurek invited him again and he declinded stating he didn't want to whinne his way into a spot.

I told I would speak to Lurek to see what happened, he had put his name down on the list which Lurek state he doesn't usual check.

So I don't think it done on purpose just a slightly bad call.  I have said to Lurek to check if anyone has put their name down from now on.

I am going to try a catch Lurek on TS tomorrow if I can't I will pm him saying it was is understood why he is upset but the opportunity to run was given.  Also we have association Lurek to check the post more regualy.

I am worried a little cause Warm did say he was thinking of quitting ops.  This maybe knee jerk reaction but not sure as don't know the guy very well.

You thoughts on this please gents

That's unfortunate :/

But then again, Twyst was complaining about 3 Maras and 1 Jugg, and i didnt catch that at all at the start, and imo it shouldnt be happening. We should always aim for balanced composition of the team.

My proposition is that we:
On a side note, with no Pun - only observations, I think he might be a little angry with KK as he didnt put his name in the thread and he was invited, while Warm did put his name.

There have been ops runs noted on forum where warm.didnt sign up.And still showing up in de evening for ops.I realy dont care bout hes angry or what ever.I have given my spot more then once too make people happy.
Besides that if its the case he maybe quit cos he wasnt in ops group then i find it pretty weak!!!
It happend to most off us that there are too many members for one ops run..Big deal.
Yesterdays Op run how many signed up on the forum and who where in the team.
This is the biggest prob from the beginning wich i have stated but nobody did any bout it.
Something else bout Ops nights is that people are not on time to start, also nobody cares bout and let it happen.
Think that some are forgetting the time difference between some lands.
Any member knows how late whe wanna start so be there, are you too late someone else have your spot!

Some fair points there mate I think it was more being told he couldn't run.  I am not going to be around tonight so will send him a pm him.

But we should look at this sign up and such again as we have more memebers running.

I don't know what happend and how things where said on ts. But i know Warm, sure he can be a little pain from now and then, but what most of you don't know is that he also raids in WoW 2 days a week, he is avail for ops 2 days a week. That are also four days in a row. Also he wakes up at 5 most days because of his work etc, but still is always there to help out.
I find it a pretty miracle that he hasn't had a burn out yet, although a few weeks ago i had the feeling he was close to one.

So yeah from my point of view i can understand that he was somewhat upset about things, and yeah maybe also some miscommunication came into play.

About The whining from Twist about the setup, i wouldn't take any action about it. That is just Twisted he has always been like that and always will.
We have a sign up topic on the forum for each OPS run at the moment, Those that sign up first gets a place that is only fair untill we have the numbers again to create two 8 man teams.
If that means the setup of the group isn't very fair so be it, as long as you have the classes that you need to run an ops.

I don't know if you know the 2 wow raid teams but RGW is running with 4/5 druids per run and that in a 10 man team, and it has been like that forever, and they don't mind as they can raid and have fun.
Just a little example.

So for the next run, maybe a little more communication between the DC and the Battlemasters running the OPS. And those who sign up on the forum will have prio to get into the group. Even if that means you have a team of 8 Inquisitors.

That is how i see it.

I get up every day at 05.00 so for me its important that whe start on time:lmfao:
Bout Warm find it bit weird his reaction for one time missing Ops run.
It happend to all off us.
How many times Sneaky got ingnored when he was online for Ops and not got picked for ops.
Warm must stop moaning thats all.

Yeah now I'm beginning to see what Twist is really. But then again, he had a point in group composition not being optimal.

Imo we need to add rules that cover those occasions of having too many members and put them out for the members tomorrow before the Ops. You have my proposition in my previous post.

As for Warm, I somehow can understand his situation there, and because we've missed the problem at the beginning (just before the fight I realised that he was the 9th member and during the fight I noticed that we have 3 mDPS'). I wouldn't react with whining, but I understand that some of the people take these things too seriously, so point to KK here.

To sum things up:

1. PM to Warm explaining the confusion with Ops composition of that raid
2. Update the rules that cover late people and invitation priority
