As per my post here (http://www.deadmen.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?36320-LAN-XXII-Competitions&p=356161&highlight=#post356161), it would be great if we could consider running CS:GO at the LAN to give it the initial impetus and boost it needs to become full fledged and adopted. It would also encourage attendees to purchase it. At a tenner, it's not prohibitively expensive.
I know it depends on servers etc but it's an idea
WDYT?
I am all for it I dont know about the LAN server situation I think that might be the only issue we have, I suggest if the pick up is great enough and most of the people coming to the gaming have it then we can run the comp on that. We can use CS as a back up if not enough people get it .
Ninja?
If it continues as per beta it will have a dedicated server (we ran one for beta) so it should be a blinder on a LAN.
I say we give it a whirl. We can play it Friday and then decide if we want to use it for the tourney. Not sure about maps though? Does it even have deagle maps?
we would keep the cs servers for deagle keeping the classic, as they are already set up.
