Funny how some people only join forums when they want something.   ;)

I'm sure someone will help you.   :)

I think you'll find Mars has been a member for a while. Not sure why he reregistered though.

You can start with going up into the menu "view" and then select "source" and you will get the code.

I assume you are talking about the forum rather than the dMw web site.

The forum uses tables not css for positioning. The table is set to 100% rather than a size in pixels so it grows or shrinks to fill the screen. The page begins to scroll as soon as you  shrink the page below the largest element within the table (i.e a banner or fixed width nested table or cell.)

Obviously at both 800p and 1024p the tables in this forum can shrink or grow to fit. I bet if you tried 640 they would scroll.

As long as your css positioning does not set an element that is more than 800p from the top left hand corner (including it's own width) you will be fine.

Setting a box that is 50p wide no more than 750p from margin is fine for an 800x600 display (50+750+800= fine).

But if you set the same 50p element 751p from margin you would get the scroll bar
(50+751=801= no good).

Hope this helps

No matter, you sin with tables on that too, so my post still almost works  ;)
