Title: Anyone running Dungeons?
Post by: Twyst on September 02, 2012, 03:54:38 AM
OK, so both SWTOR and WoW had/have their fair share of bugs.

I really like this game solo PVE compared to the rest, but it now falls down at groups.
Take the starter dungeon, AC. I've spent 2 hours going in and out of groups just trying to get into the place.
MASSIVE fail.

In summary a lot less minor bugs than SWTOR, but more major ones.

You have to keep in mind that the game was officially released six days ago, including today and the release date.

It's simply way too early to judge dungeons.  From what I've been reading it's extremely teamwork oriented, and there are bugs affecting parties in general.  This is from yesterday's state of the game update:

QuoteWe've made significant fixes to parties and guilds. However, you may still see intermittent outages. These outages cause symptoms such as party members not appearing on the map, party members not staying in the same overflow servers as they travel between maps, party members not joining dungeons together, and guild invites not working.

WoW wasn't all roses and candy floss when it started either, suddenly falling through the world was quite common, getting stuck whilst walking, mobs bugging out, players getting bugged whilst looting etc etc.
