Good review. It doesn't go into any of the shortcommings of the phone which have been identified but it seems to point out all the right things.

Well based on the line
QuoteEven after more than a week of using the iPhone 5...
they got the phone ahead of release. So of course it's biased. Pre-release phones will only go to reviewers who promise to do a positive interview others get black listed. I tend to ignore previews of hardware and film reviews because you can't tell if they're being objective...

My view, is the Apple iPhone 5 is like a second wife. The same as the first, but a bit bigger and can't read maps for sh#t!

Seriously, my brother's phone is the same visibly as the iPhone 4S, but lighter (feels cheap TBH) and while it may be faster, it's not different enough to spend £600.

The quality control in China is poor, as the first handset he opened had a big chip out of the black paint! I can see in a few months all those (currently) shiny iPhone 5's will be wearing a silver bald-patch through the anodised black paint where they've been handled. You heard it here first!

A few colleagues bought one, and must say it feels cheap and not the same quality as your used too from apple.

That's bound to happen. My new(ish) iPod feels as cheap as a Bic biro compared to my original one.
