Title: The Thick Of It
Post by: Tutonic on September 24, 2012, 11:56:05 AM
Is anyone watching this? It had me in tears of laughter last night.

For those unaware it's a satire of British politics, written by the amazing Armando Ianucci (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armando_Iannucci).

Here's a clip, there's some strong language so it's NSFW...

I caught the series when it was on TV first time round and it's genius. +1 from me.

I should probably have mentioned the fact that this is a new series. The episodes alternate between the Coalition and the Opposition... each just as inept. It's very, very funny.

I've been watching this series and it seems to have helped with my inability to talk without swearing. Superb!

I've totally adopted the term 'omnishambles' from this show. It's incredibly appropriate for working at IBM.

I watched this show when the first season came out, love it to bits.

I think Peter Capaldi is one of my recent favourite actors, he is so versatile.

"Upper-class-holes" was my favourite from Ep1.

Jamie there is a glacier of **** at DOSAC, so I need you to come down here with a ****ing blowtorch!

Sorry for the stars, but here is one of my fav lines - I use this whenever there is a big problem or situation that needs fixing to my friends/colleagues :P
