or in my case, races.
Its for over 5 years that I've been a racing dead man and have enjoyed every minute, especially the LAN ****-ups.
Now my health is failing and unless there are few miracles around I cant join in any more.
I'd like to thank my fellow dMr racers for all the fun and banter we have had over the years, some of you have become
almost 'family' to me, and I'll not name names as you know who you are. Thanks again.
Bob, you take it easy now, y'hear? Put your feet up mate, you're a good man...for a Scouser. :byebye:
Lameduck,
While I only met you once at the LAN I wanted to say so long and farewell. Thanks for all your dedication to Dead Men Racing.
Take Care.
NF
Sorry to hear you're having to call time on this gaming malarkey we all love, Bob, but do try to jump on TS occasionally for a bit of a chin wag.
Take care and fingers crossed for one of them miracles to come your way soon.
P.S. Can I have your wheel? :flirty:
Sorry to read this mate don't be a stranger on TS and as Ninja already said thanks for all your hard work.
Met you a few times at the LAN, & I'm sorry that you have to quit your gaming.
All the very best, and I hope your health improves.
sorry to hear that, stay on the forums and let us know how you are from time to time, and thanks for all you have done
As mentioned by many it's sad to hear you're hanging up your wheel, but this community is more than just games so please stay with us on teh forums and TS.
Sorry to hear that Bob, it has been a good few years. Hope to hear you on TS.
Take care!
:crying:
Bob, I'm sure it's a forced decision and one that you've not been looking forward to, but now that time has come I can tell you I'm really going to miss racing with and against you. In the five years we have battled, there has never been any hint of a pensioner behind your wheel, you fight fast and fair, often beating me to the apex and bettering my pb's, plus you're part of the reason why I still race.
I'm expecting you on ts regularly though, don't bugger off like the others have :D
It could be a premature decision though as it's the LX4@WE1r all this week and I'm sure not even the grim reaper can keep you away :thumb:
Sorry to hear that Bob. You will be missed, but I totally understand your decision and feel very grateful to have had you continue to race with us through these hard times. If ever there was proof that age is only a number, there is no better man than yourself :). If anything you have only gotten quicker in the past couple of years! You are also a big reason why DMR is still going. Always a pleasure to chat and race with you Bob mate. As the others say, drop by TS and give us a shout!
Thanks for sticking around as long as you have and all the great racing. :crying:

Seconded, he mentioned everything I wanted to say.
Take care Bob and look after yourself. You know you don't need to be actively gaming in order to hang out here and at the LANs. :)
I'll be missing racing you, and I second Sean's opinion that you greatly improved during the past couple of years.
LX4s are no good, pull up restricted UF1s on Westhill for a relaxing farewell!
All the best wishes from me, always a greatly sad thing when such a cherished member retires. You will forever be one of us.

Sorry, Bob, can't tell you how I feel - last but not least because I try to imagine how you feel.
It's been our honour to have you along for the ride Bob, I hope you're able to keep popping in to TS, perhaps attend some LANs as a pure Social member and generally keep in touch with us. You're a great example of what makes dMw so much fun and keeps us all coming back for more. You'll be sorely missed on our servers. Have a single malt on me.
Sorry to hear the news Bob but you have to look after your health, its been an honor & a pleasure.Take care Mr Duck
Thanks for all the kind words.:)
Will pop on from time to time and annoy you guys when you're racing, giving my expert advice
and if necessary a little admin jackboot duty.
Mediation in disputes will involve a small fee, but I refuse to pay much.
See you on the 'morrow, all being well....
hey Bob.
I hope you feel better soon and can spend a beer to your doctor. :)
Thank You for every lap I raced with You.
I'm very sorry to hear this Lameduck, best wishes for the future.
We had countless laps and hours of fun with you on the race track. I'll be missing all the fast, fair and funny races and times with you. Take care!
Like he said Mr Duck, SCCC and us guys wish you only the best..much respect Sir..you're in our thoughts and prayers. Nothing Lame about that Duck :)
Annoy away
Geez i was worried ...sounds like he found a Women..old goat..he'll out live us all.
Go Duck!
Dam. I asked Seany boy today where you have been , he said read the forum..I thought you DIED.....retiring isn't dieing , it's stepping away, I would like to think you found true love...come back and haunt us...Take care Duck. 72 and counting
Not been on deadmen for a while but when I saw this I just had to reply, all the very best Bob, look after yourself and enjoy your well earned retirement.

Thanks Lee. I received your PM, but could not reply as your mailbox is full.
So I'll put it here!
Hi Lee, thanks for the kind thoughts, I'm going to miss the LANs. Look after yourself and give my regards to Pete when you see him. Hope your photography business goes from strength to strength.
Cheers
Bob
Sad to hear the news Bob  You were about the only person I could depend on to be as slow/fast as me! Lets hope for those miracles so we can see you back racing. You certainly be missed :crying:
