Title: Social Application - Bodders

Please link to your armory profile.
You'll probably get an error unfortunately, I had to change my character name. It should update in a few days or so: Bodders (http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/aszune/Bodders/simple)

Are you applying for a Raider position, or Social membership?
Social

Who are you?
I'm Baz. I used to raid in False Gods with Midd, Jinx and Milli.

Where are you from?
I live in Amber Valley, Derbyshire. Originally from Newcastle, but exiled for the shame of wearing a coat once.

How old are you?
30.

What kind of work do you do?
I work in a database support role which is about as interesting as it gets.

Tell us about your personality, and why you enjoy the game.
I'm fear I may potentially be insane, but in a nice way. I enjoy the social side of the game more than anything, even when we were raiding in False Gods the enjoyment was more from the people I raided with rather than the actual content. At the moment I play as my mood takes me, achievement and no-brainer content some nights and maybe some endgame PvP or PvE on others. You can pick and choose how seriously you play the game, no other game really has that staying power and it keeps me coming back. I've taken a break twice now but always returned.

How long have you been playing computer games and what kind?
Since my ZX Spectrum, NES, Megadrive and then a PC from then onwards. I pretty much play anything but I've always been more interested in FPS, RTS and RPG games. My major online addictions were: C&C, Red Alert, Warcraft, Age of Empires, Quake 2 (the UKCCL and Globalnet's Darkhour server almost ruined my college education). I took a gaming break during a 3 year long drinking session that was apparently known by some as: University. Then started WoW.

There are other guilds on the server, why did you apply to us?
Milli persuaded me that if I ever made the decision to return to the game after quitting, that I should apply. Now Midd and Jinx have also joined, it seems like a great place to keep in touch with quite a few old friends and to make some new ones.

What other guilds have you been in and why did you decide or were forced to move on?
False Gods and its previous incarnations. We all pretty much quit at the beginning of Cataclysm for differing reasons.

Who do you know in Dead Men Raiding? How do you know them?
Milli and now also Midd and Jinx from False Gods.

Have you read our 'what we look for' and 'philosophy' posts? What do you think of them?
I have, they make perfect sense and I fully agree.

What do you look for in a guild?
A little pink haired warrior Gnome called Jinnx, with a huge two handed sword, who I can flirt with? But alas, I don't think she exists anymore. Seriously though, I just look for a guild where people have a good sense of humour, have fun & enjoy the game for what it is.

Do you actively play any alts that we could find you in in case we need to contact you?
Nope, I deleted most of my alts when I quit, I stripped and robbed the rest when I re-subscribed.

''Dead Men Raiding'' - What comes to mind when you see that guild name?
Pretty much: "Oh, I know people in that guild" and I'm afraid that's about it for now.

What are your plans for the game? In what way would you like others to know you?
To see if I enjoy it again after my break and to catch up with old friends and to make new ones.

Name one thing you don't like about WoW in its current state.
I'm not entirely sure as there appears to be quite a bit different. However, I suppose I've never liked that they remove old content and recycle it. I've not really levelled with the new cataclysm quest lines but I'd be surprised if the storylines make sense anymore. We'll see!

A guildie says something you find offensive, what do you do?
Believe me, being in False Gods for a little over 4 years or so there was always a lot of banter, it really is quite difficult to actually offend me.

Cake or Pie?
You had to throw in an unanswerable question didn't you?!? Truly the most appropriate question for me would be: "Food?", to which the answer would be: "Yes, please!".
