This from Hexus:
QuoteI knew this was happening, I even asked NVIDIA if they knew it was happening and they said it wasn't. Well, it has happened, I heard about this when at Computex and I am not suprised at all - this is the route ATI needed. Creative have a large amount of retail presence in the UK. You can for sure guess they will be reference cards, probably made for them by MSI - who made their GeForce line of cards and do ATI cards for Medion.
This has to be a huge blow to nVidia having already lost Asus recently.

Both for good and bad.. Creative makes good cards and that is a benefit for us since we all love ATi :), although I would hate to see nVidia getting beaten off the market, that would be very bad for the competition and not very good for us the consumers since ATi then almost have the whole market, and I would hate to see that.
So let us hope that nVidia gets back in the game!

Likewise. I'm all for the competition being decent as it gets us better cards at better prices.

Yup. I remember when nVidia came on the market. All us 3dfx owners hated them but then they got good and where is 3dfx now? Then ATI picked up the gauntlet and has done a great job of overhauling nVidia. We now need nVidia to start releasing cards that beat the pants of ATI so that ATI fight back again.
Most importantly, this means that the consumer gets better products to play games with :)
