Chaps, turns out the server dun broke itself. It wasn't showing up as a 'normal' server, so unless you had all of the right boxes ticked when you searched (and had normal unchecked), you could never find it!
This may explain why it has been so quiet. Well, tonight a few of us managed to work out using our fantastic minds what was causing the problem. We can now see the server in searches! So, hopefully we will see publics again! Good or bad, I'll let you decide.

It did as a matter of fact.. It took us a while to figure it out.
Yeah, we had exactly the same problem before. Changed it tonight, and we had the first publics on in ages. I am sure we can get it going like the 'good old days' on Friday night! We just have to make sure that whenever we change any settings, the server retains its 'normal' tag.
Changing maps should not matter - it is game settings that cause the problem. So we can alter between normal for Friday nights and Aftermath / CQ or whatever for other days :)

THis is excellent news. I think it is good to have others finding the server. The other night (cant remember which, I got too drunk in the end - holiday), we started out with 4 dMw's, and soon the server was running 12 or 16. Excellent! I'm on tonight by the way (in case you missed me. oh, that's right. You usually do. Miss. No? :devil:
I have an urgent appointment with a pub this evening, but if you're lucky I might come onto TS when I get in just to call Ninja some rude names.

Last night 4 of us went to our server and within a minute the first public joined. A bit after that we got another 2 dMw'ers and 3 more publics. GG's!
For the Tank Superiority we didn't have alot of players but got to say it were some nice tankbattles over the checkpoint!

Last night it was all the new ones. On Fridays when it's dMw vs the World when people don't have the addons it's usually set to basic BF3.
