Icy Veins updated with a written guide for Jin'rokh the Breaker (http://www.icy-veins.com/jin-rokh-the-breaker-detailed-strategy-wow).

HP has been reduced from PTR and according to Icy Veins is now 207m on 10 man, rather than the PTR's 304m.  DPS requirements 82k dps with 3 healers, 70k dps with 2 healers.   This implies they are running out of room at about 6min 55sec.

I think we should be good to run with 3 healers to start with.

Now with all that info the question has to be, according to wowprogress, why on earth did only 8 Aszune guilds kill it last night?

RGW got any feedback on this one?

Looking at the RGW logs it seems that tank cross taunts are going to be key here, tank deaths tended to be where a debuffed tank was also being hit by the boss.

Query Set for WoL: http://www.worldoflogs.com/reports/rt-9pvkm2qt8sdi28i0/log/?s=10033&e=10146
(copy below code, then on the above WoL page click paste, enter the code and run it to see the results)
[{"spellNames": ["Static Wound"], "eventTypes": [4]}]
This gives approx 22-23 seconds between Static Burst (assume 22).
Immediately this is cast there must be a tank taunt.
10 stacks, one clearing every 3 seconds.
30 seconds for stacks to completely clear.
OT will still have 3 stacks when first taunt back happens?

This overlap creates an issue, as raid AOE damage taken will continue to rise until we reset the stacks.  Logs show that during Lightning Storm the boss does not melee (channeled cast), so this is our cast-iron reset opportunity.  So the timeline will look something like this for each 90 second phase:

0:00 - Pull
0:25 - Static Wound on MT1 (10) and MT2 taunts
0:30 - THUNDERING THROW
0:55 - Static Wound on MT2 (10) and MT1 (3) taunts
.........RAID DAMAGE (max 9 seconds)
1:04 - MT1 stacks clear
1:17 - Static Wound on MT1 (10) and MT2 (3) taunts
.........RAID DAMAGE (max 9 seconds)
1:26 - MT2 stacks clear
1:30 - Lightning Storm
.........RAIDWALL
1:45 - MT2 taunts to start the cycle again
1:47 - MT1 stacks clear
2:00 - THUNDERING THROW

?We can reduce stacks further with a possible taunt by offtank from range and force the boss run from one side to the other whilst stacks tick down another - might be range issues for healers/dps?

I have presumed that the tank cannot stand in the water as per PTR (to be tested once?).

Thoughts?

from the healers point of view- there was 3 of us, and the raid damage was a bit insane..:crying: :crying: :crying:

The tanks figured once they have the "debuff" that they had to move out of the pool of goo, this seemed a very good idea, as the "goo" seems to multiply the raid damage by a factor of a lot (we think its 100%), so the tank had to "mini kite" the boss to stay out of the goo

other than the fact the boss hits like a truck, a very big and heavy truck, we feel with "fine tuning" that we could die a little slower...:woot2:

I cannot see any Fluidity buff in the logs. Was anyone at all standing in the puddles?   It might account for the difficulty healing if they were without the +60% healing received buff.  Or am I looking for the wrong thing in the logs?

once the puddles were out, we legging it into the goo

we told the person who had the ball of lightning aimed at them to GTFO or we`d die

But it seemed that the debuff on the tank zapped the raid- A LOT, which made us think the tank needed to stay just ahead of the goo, as the video stated it multiplies it by a huge factor.

I do not think anyone went near a lightning fissure (insta gib)

we only had a few pulls on this, but the aoe ability of the boss seems to be amazing- aka very bad for us :P

a problem we encountered (we only had 3 pulls) was that when i got the debuff, mario taunted, and just after that he was thrown away. not sure if i should just stay away or what to do.
i was close to one shotted

Must be a log problem, nothing shows at all, or i'm not using the right buff name, I'll check tonight.

The debuff zapping raid is due to stack numbers, so it might even be worth moving out of the goo for the period where nature damage is higher than normal.

@Sharpfang: we'll keep an eye on timers, if they are close we'll figure out how to stop the debuffed tank from being hit and post back here.  Edited Thundering Throw into the time list above.
