I believe it's only a few hours away now till we will know.
This brings the question...If BF4= Yes Would you buy it = Yes/NO.
Made the decision a while ago not going to be purchasing any of the next gen my rig will kick them all now or very shortly :)

I think I'll wait until the game has actually been revealed before making that decision :)

/Agree.
EA/BF3 still have to bring out the "EndGame" with 4 new maps and new mapmodes. Should it come out I'm buying it depending on a few a things though.
I'll wait before they have another sell-out as they did with BF3-Premium.
Agreed I am waiting on End Game too!
There was talk of the BF4 beta a while ago, not sure whether thats coming soon or not for PC.
I have all the battlefields so don't see why I wouldn't give this one a go too!
BattleField 4 Teaser

It neglected to feature the bit that dumps you to the browser, opens BattleLag and says "You require 1,000 EA coins to reload. Please enter credit card details if you wish to continue firing."
what a pants teaser!

This makes for interesting reading although the author is wrong about revives as you can decline them

17 mins of gameplay here:
Warning, contains violence and swearing which some might find upsetting

I must admit it looks not bad. This is of course the SP. However, I don't dig the washed-out grey colour.
I only play the MP in BF3, so will wait to see how it looks on BF4, and will prob get it...
My dream is that they remake BF:Vietnam with the new game engines, ad a few new maps and toys, and that's it, BF:V was brilliant, played that one alot with a US clan (Airborne I think it was) back in about 2003-2004

This. A thousand times this.
Sent from my Galaxy S3 LTE.
More like 4 minutes of gameplay which ties together another 13 minutes of 1st person perspective cut scenes, which will always look pretty, but you're just a passenger at that point.
On release there will probably also be a pop-up that says "Out of ammo, press '$' to enter the Origin micro payment site to buy more clips".

Played it at one of my first dMw-Lans. We were just driving and flying around with music blurring out of the speakers and didn't even mind getting shot. Jefferson Airplane, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Trogs and some more. Good fun, made me think a bit about Tour of Duty.
Still, I've bought all the BF-series and I'm probably ending up with this one also to see how it is and let you guys know.
Just got this from a video from BF3:
All BF3 premium owners receive access to exclusive BF4 Beta.
I'm still waiting for a Steam version of BF3 (I refuse to reinstall origin), since they haven't caved on that, I doubt they will on this so I won't be going for it...though if it launched today at the £30 they're asking on origin I would probably give it a miss because lets face it, it's an 18 month old game, selling for new game price. That's without the DLC which would be an extra £10, I wish companies wouldn't do that. That essentially kills a game dead, because without it you won't be able to play half the maps and there's not really any way of searching for servers that only have maps on rotation you have...urghh.
Despite all these negatives the new version does look fairly nice. Won't be buying it though, got CS:GO for now, and maybe I'll grab Arma III if I want something a little bigger.
My attitude towards BF4 is simple...
No commander - no purchase.
