At last it's finally happened and our Android experience is complete. Mark Zuckerberg has announced the new Facebook Home, a new launcher for Android that will effectively turn our clunky Android phones into new slick Facebook phones. Everything will now work through Facebook, photos, social media, contacts and just everything. And as if that's not enough soon we'll be seeing really useful advertising all over our home screens etc.
Facebook has always known how we should be using the Internet and feeding them with every piece of personal data about us, even if we don't know it ourselves, so it makes perfect sense to continue that process by offering up everything we do on our mobiles as well. And in return we get Facebook everywhere we go. Just think endless cat photos and learning that some old school friend we hardly remember has just checked into Tesco's.
I've already downloaded the app from the Google play store and so should you.

I think sarcasm quotes may be needed in case others get the wrong idea.
However, if you really did intentionally leave them out as you're serious then please remain where you are as I jump in a car so I can come and shoot you :narnar:
It's the obvious next step. Can't develop a good enough app for Android? Develop an even more ambitious project to replace the whole phone launcher. Yup, that's logical.
In comparison google+ looks rather pathetic. They built an app for the phone that's too good, I often prefer using it to the full website (except for opening websites and videos which leave the app), so they've got no motivation to start from scratch and take over the entire android launcher, suckers.
iphone ftw.lol
It's not for me, but I know people who will genuinely love it.
