Basic rules of respect.
Peoples homes are free to view unless they have posted signs which say otherwise, we all like to show off our creations.
Building of mechanisms which can deliberately kill another player are allowed as long as a general "Risk of death" warning is posted along the way. Retaliation for any resultant loss of life is therefore not expected.
Items can not be taken from chests which are not obviously game generated or in pre-defined communal "shared resource" areas, unless they have permission from the owner.
Respect other peoples creations and do not modify them without consent. Mining into another players house deliberately is not nice, accidental entry should be repaired and a courtesy note dropped to the owner explaining what happened.
Client side mods or skins which give an unfair advantage over the basic game mechanics are not allowed, our server believes that all miners are created equal and that they should remain that way.
To this end and to make sure the rules are understood, all access to the MC server will be revoked from 23:00 on Wed 10th of April until I receive a PM from you saying you understand the rules and gaming ethos and will abide by them. You will then be white-listed again. If you manage to get a PM to me before this time you will not lose access.

Alas we have had another breach of theses rules and had some actually stealing resources.
THIS IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE AND HAS TO STOP!!!
If I find out the person who has done this they will be banned from the server full stop and I will be looking to getting them kick out of the community, we do not want or need this type of behavior and I am truly disgusted that someone we know is doing this.
So it stops now or I have a strong feeling we will start to lose players, which in the fullness of time means we will lose the server.

can you elaborate on the issue toby?
A player found that some damage to their home and some items missing, mainly an amount of diamonds.
I don't want a public debate about this if you know anything please drop me a pm.
