This will be one of three heroics we'll be looking at in the first week of heroic modes (Jin'rokh, Horridon & Ji-Kun).
Useful macro for punting away your own personal Direhorn:
#showtooltip Fel Flame
/tar Direhorn Spirit
/cast Fel Flame
/targetlasttarget
Revised dps prio compared to Normal mode:
Farraki Wastewalkers > Gurubashi Venom Priests > Drakkari Frozen Warlords > Amani'shi Beast Shamans
Target macro might help us pick out the correct target to dps in this fight. Focus macro for your interrupts and we're golden.
/tar Amani'shi Beast Shaman
/tar Drakkari Frozen Warlord
/tar Gurubashi Venom Priest
/tar Farraki Wastewalker
Another option, from looking through logs, is to go 2 healer on this fight and use raidwalls for the heavier damager phases. More dps = fewer adds up = less damage to heal. It's another one of those fights where perversely bringing fewer healers could work to our advantage.
Worth consideration imo.
Just a reminder, we 2-healed this one on the kill and left me on the boss the whole fight.
Seeing as we had some trouble on this boss yesterday I've been doing some research specifically for handling door 3.
Some of the tips I've found:
Unglyphed army really helps keep diseases under control
Symbiosis on paladins grant an extra cure disease
It's very important to kite the small adds (the risen drakkari warriors I believe they are called).
Dwarves can drop diseases with stoneform (reroll entire raid to dwarves?!)
Other than that it is really vital that we're stacked on Whitey and are doing as much AoE as we can when we have the small adds up, without sacrificing too much damage on the warlords.
Some people prefer using heroism on door 3, since burning Jalak down before his 5th roar is very much doable without it.
Also were we 3-healing yesterday? The dps didn't really feel faster than it did on our kill.
I wasn't able to find our log for yesterday for some reason, has it been uploaded as private?

I'll upload it now, I was slacking!
.....and we were 3-healing it and not 2-healing it as we did not have enough geared dps to do otherwise.
As we 1-tanked the fight we might need more than 2 healers, but we'll have to see. It might be worth moving to 1 tank & 2 heal initially on Sunday to see what the difference is. 1 Solo tanks take a pounding though, so it will be interesting from a CD pov.
If 1 tanking forces us into 3 healing I would much rather use 2 tanks personally. We'll have more dps with 2 tanks and 2 healers than with 1 tank and 3 healers, we'll have an easier time seeing stuff and also controlling adds and phase 2 will be easier with 2 tanks.
Real quick too, I applied to join the guild on WoL on the account Varynn, could you accept me next time you're on there? :)

Done. :)
Thanks!
From looking at the logs it seems deadly plague really is a big contributor to the damage we take, especially on melee. This only proves that we need to do everything we can to control the adds on door 3, such as AoE stuns, army of the dead, kiting, and whichever tools we have for either locking down adds or removing diseases.
....or, rather than kiting, single target them down which will result in fewer stacks compared to the AOE approach. The problem with kiting is that it spreads us and we get issues with new adds being nowhere near the single tank, boss frontals and slower dps. I'm inclined to try heroism through that phase and continue to group up!
I meant kiting as a group as apparently the warriors should move really slowly.
I know it's very late to be posting something like this, but for anyone wanting a very indepth look on this fight, the vox videos are really insightful.
