This will be one of three heroics we'll be looking at in the first week of heroic modes (Jin'rokh, Horridon & Ji-Kun).

Looks a fun fight this one.   Picked up that the tank always gets thrown towards furthest Mogu statue?   I'd not noticed this before, perhaps I'm being forgetful in my old age!

In normal it tends to throw you to closest one.  They must be trying to confuse us :D

Interesting alternative for the lightning balls.

QuoteYou have 4 pillars in the room where your tanks get thrown hat

Have your Tank always get thrown to the bottom left pillar first (the one you usually start at anyway). He can achieve that by placing the boss as far away as possible from it. Usually its enough to just pull the boss where he stands and dont move him. If he moves, you need to reposition accordingly.

After that, make sure you always have throw up counter-clockwise. Bottom right, Upper right, Upper left. That allows your group to rotate counter-clockwise aswell.

Mark the 4 pillars with a raidmark. Exactly hugging the wall in the middle of the pillar - if you know what i mean. Those will be your 4 (3, cause the one where you get thrown first is not accessable) group up spots.

Just have everyone move into that spot when the lightning storm start / 1-2 secs early. Group up tight. Put down Barrier/Spiritlink/AM and some aoe healing. Wait there for like 5-6 seconds. Then start moving to the right and keep going till the phase is over.

You just have to make sure you dodge inside the Barrier for the first 5-6 seconds. Sometimes you will have 1 or 2 lightnings fly to you when you stack up. Just dodge them by sidestepping a bit. The one from left -> right are the most dangerous.

While you move, have your resto druid symbioses tranq, your shaman ascendance spiritwalk etc. so you can put down some healing while moving.
Not sure if we have the CDs for it, but it is worth considering.

From Icy Veins:

Quote from: Heroic Mode DifferencesIn addition to Jin'rokh dealing increased damage and having increased health, there are two important new mechanics in the fight.

Ionization (http://www.wowhead.com/spell=138732) is a debuff that Jin'rokh applies on all raid members, except tanks, one minute after the fight starts, and every 90 seconds after that. The debuff lasts 24 seconds, and it can be dispelled. While active, the debuff does not do anything, but when it wears off or is dispelled, it causes the affected player anyone within 8 yards of them to take a very high amount of Nature damage. If the debuff wears off while that player is in a Conductive Water void zone, every other player in the Conductive Water will take a very high amount of Nature damage.

Lightning Strike (http://www.wowhead.com/spell=137647) is cast at the start of each Lightning Storm (http://www.wowhead.com/spell=137261), and lasts for the same duration as the Lightning Storm. Several beams of lightning hit the ground, and from each of these beams, 4 small sparks of lightning move out in 4 directions, traveling along the floor. Coming in contact with the beams, at their point of impact, or with any of the resulting sparks, deals a high amount of Nature damage.
The latter is the one that will provide the most fun - we need to be able to move & avoid the lighting beams/balls during a storm.

Ionization:

We can self-dispel if we have sufficient range for the safety of other players and sufficient health to survive the 300k or so damage.

QuoteImmunities such as  Cloak of Shadows,  Ice Block, and  Divine Shield work to remove the debuff without harming the affected player, but the proximity damage will still be dealt.

While its already been said in raid, i feel it should be on record here.
We were essentially pre cloak/shield/deterrence ionisation so it never lands in the first place , right as the dbm timer hits zero.

except for the one time i made a serious mistake and killed everyone else around me with a poorly timed cloak :P

This seemed to work for us tonight, I won't copy the whole text but I have linked the original post that describes the tactic for handling Lightning Storm.
