BT are running another trial. This one is specifically looking at V92 improvements although V90 modems will connect.

DO NOT SHARE THIS WITH ANYONE OUTSIDE THIS GROUP

If a significant increase in users is detected then the plug will be pulled.

As it's a trial they tend to mess with the parameters.

Do your bosses dole out that info knowing that the little people (you) will pass it on?  hence they have an audience for their test line so they can do their tweak experiments.... an audience with no come-back for obvious reasons.....

But they get no feedback from the illicit users.

The internal newsgroups are used to provide feedback for these trials.
