Post by: Red_Thunder on December 13, 2003, 02:54:19 PM
Hi guys ... im not quite sure if this is the right topic to post this in ... sorry if it isnt.

Im aware quite a few of you have Xboxs. [I think ]
And ive been looking for a keyboard and mouse connector for my bros xbox as him in my uncle often whipe the floor with me with those game pads :@

Ive found like an adapter  thingy magigers but its only for US shipping :/

I guess id need somthing to plug into the part where the pad itself disconnects ?
Where i could then plug in my PC's keyboard and mouse....
Or is it not that simple.?

Thanks :)

All info how how to make a usb cable to fit the xbox is here (http://www.geocities.com/lifeforce4iv/USB_Controller_Mod.html).

Google is your best friend.

Although most of the infomation about this doesn't mention using it in games just for installing linux onto your xbox. Other info also says that microsoft will not be releasing a kbd or mouse as people have been calling the xbox a low end pc. How true this is is anyones guess.

From what I can find thats the only way you are going to do it I'm afraid. Unless you can find someone that sells the adapter you found in this country. Also as I said previously most sites seem to say that this is mainly for installing linux and not gaming.

Good Luck.
