Hello ladies and gents, I am in the process of setting up my new business and would like some feedback, so please have a ganders, let me know what you think :) www.iConfigure.co.uk (http://www.iconfigure.co.uk)
Nice and clean website :thumb:
Good luck with your venture :D
Good luck, my only comment on layout is the tick and cross on the front page. The tick looks good, but the cross doesn't immeadiatly look like a 'don't worry about it' cross. Other than that (which is subjective) looks clean and good.
Assuming you are in partnership with some people, so good luck all of you!
Overall I like it. I don't understand what you do but I like it. :)
At a glance and looking at it with a more professional eye....
- The content uses a mix of US and UK English (such as organization)
- The punctuation (particularly commas) is all over the place making the text hard to read.
- I would also say that there is some clunky phraseology (for example saying: 'from one device to other devices' rather than: 'between devices' for example).
- There is a mix of uppercase and lower case characters on titles. These need to be made consistent.
- 30 years experience needs an apostrophe - years'
- its in the subheader needs an apostrophe - it's
- Public Sector in the subheader needs a capital S and it also needs to have something before it rather than a comma. i.e. 'Retail or the Public Sector'.
- Educational Sector should be Education Sector
- up to date needs hyphens
I've amended your first paragraph to read:
With over 30 years’ experience in the IT industry specialising in (but not restricted to) the Education sector, iConfigure prides itself on offering a first class but competitive service across a multi-industry Spectrum. Within a short time-frame, iConfigure can have your organisation up-to-date with technology which can manage, supervise, asset and track all your mobile device needs.
Use or ignore comments as you see fit :)
Good luck !

I agree with Pen, good looking at first glance, but the grammatical errors did jar.
Also:
- Under the "What we do" heading, "Set software up..." should read "Set up software..."
- In the main description, "manage, supervise, asset and track" should this read "assess"?
Good luck from me too :)
Such simple things
Cheers guys
Nice site Jewelz. Let me know when you want to have it translated to Dutch. :flirty:
Very nice and clean site Jewelz.
Best of luck and good fortune to your business.
It's not too bad. I'm not a fan of the animated GIF though. It changes size and has a clear boarder on some of the transitions (ie where the hand is cut off, or there is a gradient). This makes it clear that the box/images are changing size. I'm NOT suggesting stretching all the images to fill a box of the same size. Changing aspect ratios looks terrible. Cutting out a couple of the frames and ensuring the edge of all the images are transparent would negate the issue. Additionally the android and iOS logos are crammed into a box, which makes them, to my eyes at least, appear clickable or roll-overable, but they're not.
If a couple of these things get tweaked it'd have a much nicer feel. Good luck in your venture.
No Uggs?

Apart from the grammar issues, does anyone see the smaller typesets as fuzzy or is that just me?
What do you do Jewel? :)
Good luck with your venture.
Thanks for all the good luck wishes and feedback, all has been taken on board and those eagle eyed enough, will notice bits have changed.
Update to Business: Device repairs. We now repair devices, pricing is focused on iPhones and iPads because we figured most of the population have one.
We're also now on facebook! https://www.facebook.com/#!/IConfigure
Again, any feedback is appreciated.
Thanks alot,
Adam
Still no uggs.... ;)
