Hi guys,
First of all, sorry for not being around much. Sadly I cannot make the thursday races and life is getting in the way of a lot of things. BUT, I have been competing in the Touring Pro Series V8 Supercars Championship. It runs from March till August with all division 1 races broadcast live on youtube with a commentary team. ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w6l1bBTyU48 should give you a rough idea).
The championship culminates in a "Mini-Bathurst", a 500km Bathurst race which includes each car having a co-driver with a minimum lap requirement just like the real bathurst. I'm currently the highest ranked independant in the series and competing in division 1......but have no co-driver as yet!! If anyone is intrested, as a co-driver you are allowed to enter up to two rounds before bathurst, convieniently there are 2 rounds left before bathurst so you get a bit of practice of the cars and tracks etc.
League info is here http://insidesimracing.tv/forums/topic/7154-vv8s-2013-league-information/
It runs on saturday evenings from about 6pm. Bathurst finale will be around a 3 hour race plus qualifying etc. If anyone is intrested please let me know on here.
It runs on rFactor, but im pretty sure most of you have it. Please check the other links in the forum too, as they are now using rfScan as an anti-cheat measure which will need to be used at each round.
Hope that gets you all intrested, sadly I run id the mid teens position wise, but its always a good battle, and i get higher each race! Have a think about it an let me know.
Cheers
Rob
Hi Rob, that looks a well organised race series, Good luck :thumb: several guys have rFactor and we used to run a server but it dwindled due to a lack of admin.

Good luck Rob, :thumb: far too long for me, beside which I'm totally **** on rFactor (no change there then).
Thanks guys. The minimum co-driver requirement is 32 laps, so about an hours worth of driving, can be split into stints etc if needed. So it can be two half hour races an hour apart if needs be ;)
Sounds like an interesting event, too long of a race for me though.
Good luck with it!
You would be racing for the same length as you do on Thursday evenings, I'd be doing the other 2 hours :boxing: I think its 81 laps, co-driver to do 32 minimum.
A Team-mate has been found! Thanks all for your comments :)
Excellent, good luck Rob :thumb:
Thanks Jamin,
