Another option. As content is streamed over the Internet I would imagine that like a Roku not there will be no need for a TV licence but lots of stuff will need paying for or a subscription. In fact it does look like a Roku box. I wonder how much longer people will be getting TV down an aerial or a satellite dish? Sky certainly are covering their bases nicely. I'm still going for the Google offering but choice is nice.

Aye I've ordered one to leave by the TV - it'll give my daughter something to use instead of my laptop whilst she both watches TV and browses clothes shops all night! Been really impressed with the Nexus range so far and it's a nice replacement for my now dead Xoom.
...and it's arrived. The screen is drop-dead gorgeous!
Liking the sound too, big improvement over what I have heard on the old Nexus 7.
Daughter is delighted and I now know that my laptop won't get fried every night whith her browsing whilst she also watches trash tv.
FYI the 4G LTE version is now available on Google play
