Did you do the one were the train is coming from the left side? That's really cool but it took me several tries to make it. The last time I did that one I was way ahead of the train tho.

You're quit far, nice looking car. I have the same problem with dragraces so now and then, you just got to make sure you get top lead and then just get in their way, it might cost you a few retrys but It'll work

Might do after I've finished NFS underground. It's the awesome mods you can put on your car, changing the colour and stuff and winning new mods.

I'm sorry to say NFS and LFS are almost nothing alike.

Oh and I made the mistake of playing with default graphics........DON'T. Turn them, all up (especially motion blur) It adds an extraordinary level of realism, plus sexy girls who start each race..... instead of that boring count-down  :D  :D

just finished it, yay me! i tried it with everything turned up, i could almost hear my gfx card groaning under the strain, nm, turned the crowd on & something else, actually slowed it down a little, which was helpfull, it was starting to get a bit silly, anywhoo finished mx5 (http://homepage.ntlworld.com/martin.reed8/mx5.JPG) . Time to try an new car me thinks.

Correct. NFS is a good larf, LFS take a bit more time and concentration to get used to. I like both, but LFS is looking the FAV just now, its far better fun racing against the lads IMHO.  :D

How can I make pics of my car's?

I have the Miata MX5 too. It looks quite good, but maybe I don't understand, but if you played out the game (all 112 races) then you can't customize anything to your car anymore???

I started over with the Honda Civic. Though not as good as the Mazda Miate MX5, it runs quite good too!!

yep, thats a body kit on my mx5 oberon, you win them in the last few races.

Strider, what are you playing it on, ps2 or pc, on pc just print screen & save it in whatever paint type prog u like, in ps2, ive no idea, anyone else know? & yea as far as i know once youve finished the game you can't do anymore to your car.

If i ever get round to it i'll get a few pics of my cars, i think ive completed it 3 times over & im attempting to go all the way thru with the setting on hard for all the races, ive got up to about the 80th race with out to much trouble, but its starting to get a bit tough now.

My 1 tip for anyone playing nfs:u would be to get really good at the drift races, you can unlock loads of things with just one big victiory.

oooh, just found a few pics of my civic i finished the game with - civic (http://homepage.ntlworld.com/martin.reed8/civic.JPG)        civic+body kit (http://homepage.ntlworld.com/martin.reed8/civic%20wide.JPG)

well hello everyone and yeah NFS UNDERGROUND is the best racing game until now , i loved Porsche , but this one beats every thing made until now , well i play not for long now and already built myself a powerfull Honda civic , i use Logitech stearing weal wich i recomand to all of you, it gives you the feeling like you are in the car itself and is perfect sumilation , its awsemo , well i havent advanced to much cuz i plat it on hard and is not easy at all but i like it hard as in all the games , well if anyone has any questions about Underground you can ask me and i will answer without any problem , so play on and take care all  :D
bye bye  :D

Zok, do you just use the keyboard or have you got a different type of controller?

You cannot beat the Mitsi Eclipse, just as fast as a Supra and handles like the MX-5. Its a beauty....

This is my ride:

Mazda Miata MX5 (http://members.lycos.nl/brommerplaatjes/upload/images/639.jpg)

Quite nice huh?

And this is the car with which I will play out the game for the second time:

Honda Civic (http://members.lycos.nl/brommerplaatjes/upload/images/640.jpg)

It will be nice too, but I am still in the beginning :P!

But now I have a big question. I have played out the game and while playing online I still get style points and still unlock spray's and vinyls. But I can't customize my car anymore...Anyone knows how to do it, or is it a simple no?

Post by: RizZy on January 11, 2004, 05:50:22 PM
As far as i'm aware the car youve completed the game with you can no longer do anything else to, but, all the cars that you unlocked during completing the game are also available to you to do what you will with them.

So I can buy upgrades for other cars too? Gonna check it out right away. I have so much money left...

In Quick Race Mode you do not require money to do up your car if that helps at all, but not all parts are availiable.

If anyone wants to challenge me, I'll be up for it. I have played unranked only, but seriously, I haven't lost 1 match so far!!

First of all Strider your mx5 its top, nice one  :worship:

my mate told me that on his gamecube he completed underground which unlocked the wide arch kit, then he completed a 10 lap drift which unlocked everything.

i dunno whether its a quick race or exactly what gets unlocked.

just thought i'd let you all know.

Ok, I crashed my computer and lost my car's. I have almost played out the game again, and this is the result: My Car (http://members.lycos.nl/brommerplaatjes/upload/images/790.jpg)

Still waiting for the wide body kit and lvl.3 rear bumpers.

I also unlocked EVERYTHING in the game!!

BTW.: What was your highest drift score (in 1 combo)? Mine was 52184, next time I'll make a piccie of it as proof :)!!

Post by: DuVeL on January 22, 2004, 04:20:20 PM
Best drift was outrageous or something but I don't know the score anymore, was around that.

The only thing I don't like about the car is the grey hood. To bad it isn't painted.

Mine was around 55-60,000 i think, cant remember exactly

Outrageous is somewhere in the 20000 points! I like the grey hood, and if you watch carefully you see that it is not grey but carbon-look. Then you will see the small bits of carbon on the front bumper, sideskirts, spoiler, and later on the rear bumper too! I think that is nice!!! But I am planning to do a make-over for my car :P. Just like MTV, turn it over in Madonna or something :P.
