Guys and Gals of Minecraft
It seems that this issue of people taking stuff has lessened but it is there and as such I with the other admin have had discussions and decided to bring in a trail of chest locking.
From now one you can lock every chest, furnest, Crafting table, etc to your own use. But there are 3 basic levels, but you can play with Private one to give certain people access
Private = You and you alone
Public = All can use
Password = You password it and you can hand that out to people.
The command to use this are below
Commands- /lwc - The LWC command for everything, however aliases are available to make some commands shorter. Type /lwc in-game for more detailed help.
- /cprivate - The alias of /lwc create private (or /lwc -c private), it creates a private protection.
- /cpassword - The alias of /lwc create password , it creates a passworded protection.
- /cpublic - The alias of /lwc create public, it creates a public protection
- /cremove - Allows you to remove a protection you own (or if you're an LWC admin, any protection) - you must click on the protection after using /cremove in order to remove it.
- /cunlock - Allows you to attempt to gain access to a passworded protection after LWC tells you you attempted to open a password protection.
The ones in the common areas that all can use will be set to public.
Once again it saddens me that we have to do this.
Thanks
Arrgh. I thought we had solved this issue.
oh well, I think this is a sad but necessary step and hopefully will quash any further problems.
I really don't think crafting tables or furnaces would need protecting - I certainly wouldn't lock mine but I can see the argument for chests.
sooner server tracking the better! i would like to think that this is a dodgy bit of programming that affects us rather than the other
