Out now on Blu-Ray but you really shouldn't.

Looks very pretty but the story is weak and gets weaker. Sometimes this sort of story (I won't spoil it) makes you go WOW I never saw that coming. But sadly oblivion is so obvious that you can see ever plot twist coming a mile off. Nothing surprises and it totally runs out of steam by the end. Apart from that there's some gaping plot holes and completely illogical concepts. One day it will be on terrestrial TV. Save yourself some money and watch it then for free if you must.

I didn't see it coming, because the whole concept didn't make sense. Memory gaps etc make it easy to guess what's happened to him, but I can't think of any possible reason as to why. It never comes even remotely close to explaining why. On the other hand, the effects and visual theme of the film is nice, so it's at least pretty to look at.
It was predictable in parts, I'm glad I did'nt pay to watch it, it's easy on the eye which I liked and reminded me of minority report in parts, but then again saying that it was nothing new nothing enticing about it apart from the visuals.
Watched it and yeah it's ok for a straight to DVD flick ,but your right not a film I wud of went to the cinema to see.
