Logitech formula force GP (http://www.pcworld.co.uk/martprd/store/pcw_page.jsp?BV_SessionID=@@@@1123439696.1071505303@@@@&BV_EngineID=ccckadckegkiihjcflgceggdhhmdfif.0&page=Product&sku=976444&category_oid=-10052)
Right bought one of these today as being the best at a cheap price.
Best part was that when i went to pay the cashier said "Im sure this comes with a game" and went off came back 2 mins later with Need For Speed - Underground :D Now it isnt mentioned on the website, in shop or on the box but this guy decided it did and i wasnt going to argue :D so i got the wheel for £20 Bargain Did i say :D :D

:D :D :D :D :D I just cant stop smiling.

When you get online watch out, lots of cheaters out there. I've been reading the NFS forum about it and all I hear is cheaters this and cheaters that.
Have fun with the steering wheel, usually I'm not really in to racing but this game is superb!

I tryed the drifting the other day and got Colossal and Outrageaus. Any1 topped that?

I'd say that's a result m8 :P  Might even be tempted to get my wheel out again - no FF unfortunately, but I can pretend

For a split second there i thought it prevented friendly fire, which would be nice as being hit by Dr. Pepper is not! I spent so much time in the grass, up the banks and in the rocks last night i considered becoming a geologist.   :D

Yep, we had fun last night eh?  I think JAS remodelled my rear end a few times, but I'd rather not spread that news around too widely, unlike my rear end

Aside from hugging other peoples' arses (usually termed drafting...) what options for control does this puppy use?

I take it keyboard and wheel, but what about analogue joypads (a la PS2)?

I just don't fancy having to hook this thing in my cupboard (http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/sidewinder/FFB.asp) up every time cos a joypad is a wee bit smaller.

Yeah, a steering wheel is great. I'm using the one that was sold with Gran Turismo for the PS2. Which just happens to be this (http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm?page=products/details&CRID=13&CONTENTID=5026&countryid=18&languageid=1) model.

Just beware of smite doing a 'George Michael' on you.

Not if you discount the value of the game illegally supplied to you by your mate (the insider on the job) at the till.  Some people will stop at nothing to get something for nothing - I mean, working at PC World   :lmfao:
